Nagito's POV
I rested Hajime down on the couch after I walked in the house. He looked around nervously, as if he were looking for an attacker that may come. I began to sink into my thoughts as I wondered what happened to Hajime during the month he was gone.
As I stood there pondering, Hajime pulled on my sleeve.
"S-Someone knocked on your door..." "Oh!"
I started walking to open the door when Fuyuhiko burst through. "NAGITO! Where is he!?"
He was incredibly loud, so I put a finger to my mouth, signaling him to quiet down. I didn't want him scaring Hajime.
After a second, Fuyuhiko calmed down as I saw Kazuichi, Peko and Ibuki walk in. I led them to where Hajime was sitting.
They all gasped in unison as they saw the boy's attire and scars. Hajime looked at them all, confused and scared.
"Hajime. We're all here to explain what happened to you," I said. He nodded and looked up at everyone. I guess he didn't realize they were there because he seemed surprised when he saw the other's.
"Wh-who are you people....?" They all gasped. Oops... I forgot to tell them that he lost his memory. Ibuki looked the most surprised as she walked over to him.He leaned as far away from her as possible, seemingly scared of what she was going to do. She touched his face softly and smiled a bit.
Kazuichi spoke up. "Do you... really not remember us...?" Hajime shook his head, looking down.
"He doesn't even know who he is," I explained. "We need to explain everything. Our friendship, the fire, everything."
Fuyuhiko nodded. "Mind if we sit down?" He asked Hajime. The brunette was hesitant but then he nodded. We all sat on the couch in silence until Hajime broke it.
"Wh-who am I...? I don't know anything... where did I come from!? Why is this here!?" He frantically lifted his shirt to reveal a large scar, extending all the way down his torso.
My eyes widened. Fuyuhiko stood up, a dark look in his eyes.
"Who did this to you...? Whoever it was... Are gonna rest in fucking pieces!" Hajime didn't know the answer, but he was trying. I could tell, the look in his eyes showed that he was trying so hard.
Peko saw this, before saying, "There is no need to strain yourself. Please, stop worrying about that right no-" "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!?" I jumped as Hajime cut her off.
"I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU PEOPLE ARE! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM! AND YET YOU ACT AS IF YOU'VE KNOWN ME FOREVER...! Why... why is this happening to me...?"
We all stared in disbelief as we heard Hajime share his true feelings.
"C-Can you people help me...?"
He asked in a shaky voice. I nodded, relying with, "What do you need?"
He looked down as I noticed he was shaking more than before. "Can you... protect me from THEM...?"A/N: Hey guys! So for this fanfic, I'm gonna make short chapters but update often. So until the next update, I love you my little fujoshi and fudanshi~♡ ~(-.-~)
