Chapter 9

Timeskip Yang's pov
It's been 5 days since (Y/n) disappeared without a trace. We ask where he lives to see if he was there, and when we arrived, there was a note saying he'll be back in a week. Even so, we still looked for him, but no luck. All of team RWBY were feeling down, including me, I tried to cheer myself up, but nothing works. Now we're just in the dorm, slouching on our beds, being depressed.

Ruby: "Is it our fault?"
Blake: "What do you mean?"
Ruby: "Well we looked at him, like if he was a monster. When he was only trying to protect a comrade."
Blake: "I understand what you mean, but he did it with pain. Cardin was in the infirmary for two days."
Ruby: "I know, but..."

Me: "Hey, let's go out to eat."
Weiss: "Are you serious? How can you be so cool and worry free."
Me: "You don't think I am? I'm feeling the same as you and everyone else in this room."
Weiss: "Then why?"
Me: "Remember what the note said? He'll be back in a week, so there's only two days left. So I want to go out, and stop worrying so much."
Blake: "Sure why not? I believe he will come back. When he does, let's be there to greet him with a smile."
Weiss: "I guess you're right."
Ruby: "Um, question. Where are we going?"
Me: "I heard of this popular restaurant called 'Show and service', on weekends, there's a group playing music. I heard it's good."
Ruby: "Yay, a performance!"
Blake: "Alright then, let's go."

We all went out, looking forward to arriving at the restaurant.

(Y/n) pov
It's been 5 days, I learn alot more of my power, and how to use it. Today is a Friday so that means I have work to do. I don't want to miss another day of work, and get fired. I got my shirt, hoodie, ripped jeans, and the black boots. I'm only going to bring my pistol, so I don't draw much attention with my sword.

Timeskip
I arrived at the restaurant, and went in. It was as full as last time. I saw Boss, so I went to say hi.

Me: "Hey, how you doing?"
Boss: "(Y/n), is good to see you! I'm feeling fine."
Me: "That's great! I'm heading backstage to prepare."
Boss: "Ok then. Knock'em dead!"

I head backstage and spotted Sapphire.
She was wearing a dark purple tank top, with a ponytail, black leggings, and black sneakers.

Me: "Hello."
Sapphire: "(Y/N)! Where have you been?! Everyone has been looking for you."
Me: "I'm training."
Sapphire: "That doesn't exscuse you for disappearing out of the nowhere! I've been worried about you..."
Me: "Awww, don't worry, see? I'm fine."
Sapphire: "I'm glad..."
Alex: "Hey."

I look next to me, and see alex with a serious expression.

Me: "O-Oh, hey A-Alex. How are you."
Alex: "Don't give me that crap. I would punch you right now for what you did, but he did kinda deserve it, so I'll let it slide."
Sapphire: "What did you do?"
Me: "Something uncool of me..."
Sapphire: "Okaaay..."

We went to get ready to go on stage. We went to the stage, but the curtains are still down.

Me: "By the way, we're gonna play a new song."
Sapphire: "YAY!"
Alex: "Cool, let's do this."

Ruby's pov
We're arrive at the restaurant, and went it. There was alot of people.

Waiter: "Welcome to Show and Service. How many?"
Yang: "Four seats please."
Waiter: "Right this way."
Me: "This place is awesome!"
Weiss: "although it's not my taste, it is ok."
Waiter: "Here we are, a table for four. And you all made it in time, the performance is about to start."
Yang: "Great!"
Waiter: "Would you like to order anything?"
Me: "Juice!"
Blake: "ice tea."
Weiss: "same here."
Yang: "just give me a coke or something."
Waiter: "alrighty then, please wait and enjoy the show."
