Everyone in the restaurant was cheering and applauding. It was hard to believe a song can make people so happy. After the song we went backstage.
Sapphire: "That was awesome! It was a really great song and the audience loved it!" Alex: "It was a really cool song. You're not so bad at this. To be honest, I thought you would stink a bit. Sorry..." Me: "Nah, it's ok, I'm glad you guys like it. So what do we do now?" Sapphire: "Usually we stay here and eat something. But sometimes we go out, just to have fun." Me: "Oh ok."
We started talking and get to know each other, they told me that their lead singer before me found a better job and left. Boss came to congratulate me on my first night. We close up and head out.
Boss: "Safe trip home." Me: "You too."
We parted way with Boss.

All of a sudden we heard a woman scream. We three headed to where the scream is and we saw a dust shop getting robbed by armed man.
???: "No one move. Get all the dust, quickly!" Me: "Hey, what do you think your doing!" ???: "Stay out of this kid." Me: "Why should I?" ???: "Because this will happen."
He pointed a gun at me. I was startled a little, I close my eyes and heard the gun shot, expecting the hit. But it never came, I open my eyes and they're was a long blue light in the way. I noticed Alex holding a red handle with the blue light glowing from it.

Alex: "Don't you mess with my friends..." Me: "Thanks."
I went to get my sword, but I forgot I left my weapons at home.
???: "Why you brat?!"
He started shooting with his smg. I push Sapphire to cover, holding her in my arms trying to protect her. Alex was blocking it all with his sword. 6 more thugs came in, two of them had swords.
Me: "Sapphire, stay here!"
I ran to the side, and give them a surprise attack. I punch one on his jaw knocking him out instantly, and sidekick another on his chest, smashing against a wall. The others notice and focus on me, I hid behind a desk, avoiding the bullets. Alex took the chance to hit two of them with the side of the sword, hurting them badly. I came out and throw one down to the floor.
Alex: "Wait, weren't there six?" Me: "Where's the other?" ???: "NO BODY MOVE!"
We turn around and see the last one holding Sapphire as hostage, the gun pointing at her head.
???: "Do anything stupid, and I'll put a bullet in her!" Alex: "Let her go man!" ???: "Like hell!"
We were in a bind, I felt like a failure. I was gonna lose a new friend.
Me: This can't be happening... There's no way... I... I...
All I felt was darkness.
