Chapter 14

(Y/n) pov
We arrive at show and service, it wasn't full because it's still daylight. The person at the desk noticed who I am so he let us enter with no trouble. We sat at a table in the corner. Ruby order some chocolate cake, and I got some pasta.

Ruby: "Thish plashe ish amashing."
Me: "Don't talk with your mouth full."
Ruby: "sorry, is that I'm surprised of all the different varieties of foods."
Me: "I know. It's famous for the food and entertainment."
Ruby: "Yeah... Is it ok if I come here to see you perform?"
Me: "You want to see the show, you gotta order something. Those are the rules."
Ruby: "But, isn't there another way?"
Me: "Well... There is."
Ruby: "Tell me!"
Me: "Work here, as a maid."
Ruby: "M-M-Ma-Ma-Maid..."
Me: "Yup."

She pull up her hood and look down. I heard someone approaching us. I look over my neck, and see Boss. (I finally noticed that I didn't describe him. Well his a middle age man,with short black hair, has stubbles, wears a dark purple vest over black long sleeve shirt, and black pants with gray stripes.)

Boss: "Why hello there, it's a beautiful day isn't?"
Me: "Yes it is."
Boss: "May I ask, who is this?"
Me: "This Ruby."

Ruby look up and pull down her hood.

Boss: "She isn't just a ordinary girl, this a pretty delicate flower. Pleased to meet you, you may call me Boss."
Ruby: "H-Hello."
Boss: "Shy, but cute."
Me: "Yeah, anyway we're gonna go. Thanks for the meal."
Boss: "Anytime for my star."

Ruby and I wave goodbye. We walk around town with an awkward silence. It was too awkward so I decided to say something.

Me: "So Ruby?"
Ruby: "Yes!?"

She jumps startled.

Me: "I'm sorry did I scare you?"
Ruby: "A little, don't worry."
Me: "ok... I heard that there's a dance on Friday. Are you going?"
Ruby: "Yeah. The whole team is going."
Me: "Can I hang out with you guys?"
Ruby: "Sure, we wouldn't mind anyway."

We both smile with glee. Then we heard a ruckus around the corner. We went as quickly as possible, we turn, and see a old man with a broom and faunus on the ground in front of an item store. We ran towards them.

Old man: "Go back from where you came from you beasts."
Ruby: "Hey leave him alone!"
Old man: "Why should? He will just steal from my shop."

As he was about to strike with his broom, I got in the way just in time taking the hit on the shoulder.

Old man: "W-Why you get in the way?!"
Me: "You should be ashame of yourself. Because of this action, I have no choice but take you with me."

As I said with a sinister tone, a purple soulflame appeared on my hand making Hellraiser. In a blink of an eye, I was behind him with the blade of the scythe near his neck.

Me: "May your soul rest in peace..."
Old man: "WAIT WAIT! IM SORRY, I WONT DO IT AGAIN! ILL TREAT NICELY EVERYONE, EVEN FAUNES!"
Me: "Swear to me old man!"
Old man: "I SWEAR!!!"
Me: "Good."

As the scythe disappeared, the old man went running away. I help up the male faunes.

Me: "Are you ok?"
Faunes: "Yeah, I am. Thank you. I guess not everyone is a dick. I owe you one buddy."
Me: "Cheers."

And with that he left the area. I saw Ruby approaching me.

Ruby: "Have I ever mentioned that your the coolest guy I've ever met!"
Me: "Thank you."
Ruby: "Honestly, your really kind as well!"
Me: "I-Im really flattered."

I blush for a bit.

Me: "We should head back."
Ruby: "Alright."

Timeskip
As we get off the ship, we walk together to the fountain.

Me: "Well I guess this is where we part. I gotta go to my cabin,"
Ruby: "Ok then, see you later."
Me: "Also Ruby..."
Ruby: "What is it?"

I pet her head and mess up her hair.

Me: "Survive."
Ruby: "O-Ok..."

I left, leaving Ruby paralyzed. The moment I reach the forest, I race towards my cabin. I open the door and slam it shut. I got on my knees, clench my hands on my head, and started panicking.

Me: "All I'm going to do is bring death and destruction... I can't stay here."

Flashback
The moment I grab Hellraiser. It got all dark, slowly I could see again. Looking around I recognize that I'm in beacon. But it was night, fire in some parts of the building, some parts were already a pile of rubble. I walk with haste, and started seeing grim everywhere attacking students. The robots that are meant to proctect the students, have gone rogue shooting at them. Many were dying.

Me: "What the fuck is this?"

I look to my side and my spirit fell in darkness. Ruby, Weiss, Ren, and Nora are fighting the army of robots, they had injuries all over their bodies, looking extremely tired. I rush to help them, stading in front of them I summom Chaoseater and made a wave of sword blades from the ground cutting them to pieces.

Me: "Is everyone al-"

I look behind and see each of them pierced by blades. I drop the sword to the ground, despair fill my soul. I heard a scream and run towards it. It came from the Library so I went in through a broken window. My world just keeps crumbling down. I see blake on the ground wounded, and next to her was Yang with missing an arm. I sit next to them holding them in my arms. They both smile and stop breathing. I felt like dying, I felt nothing in me. I look up and see a red headed man with a mask, black clothing, and a katana.

???: "You're to late."
Me: "Damn you.... DAMN YOU."

I took out mercy, and started shooting nonstop. After a few seconds he fell to the ground. I look to my arms and noticed that Yang and Blake vanish.
Out of the nowhere, thinking that things couldn't get worse, a terrifying roar was heard out. I got out of the building and see a giant grim at the top of a tower. It had dragon-like features, I think the most horrific thing about it is the face. It came down from the tower and landed in front of me. It stare right into my eyes with its red eyes. Slowly everything got dark once again. And the last thing I heard, will haunt me for a long time.

Death: "This is your destiny..."
