The four corners of the room seem small when Lily's packages have arrived from their home. Her college is just a stone throw away from that apartment. She's still not used to the noise of the surroundings and a bit of a slowpoke for her new environment. The first day of the moved is the busiest for Lily. There were plenty of gentlemen in the place, they helped Lily out in delivering the boxes to her room. The new tenants have their own meeting for their first stay. There were too many first year on the apartment and seeing that they concluded a meeting. The man named Tristan, the oldest tenant of that apartment has been staying there since high school, being in that situation he concluded to everyone that there are some rules to be followed since that apartment are for both female and male tenants.
The only present on that meeting is the new ones they have introduce themselves to each other. There Lily met everyone for the first time. She had known that there are other tenants who will be only staying for a semester and others are staying until graduation.
A student of the same course of Lily was her roommate, her name is Aiko. They are of the same age and have the same schedule. They are inseparable that is why they easily became friends.
"So where do you want to sleep?" Aiko asked as they enter their room after the tenants meeting. The room have only one double deck bed so Aiko was asking Lily if she want to be on the top or below.
"I prefer the place that you don't want" Lily answered
"Hmm? Why is that?"
"I don't want to inconvenience you when you are resting"
"Huh? What do you mean by that? Being so considerate of me won't help me to be a better person you know, you're too kind for your own good" Aiko said then she climb up to the second deck
"Is it that bad to be good?" Lily asked
"No, but being too much is not good"
"Am I being too much just now?"
"No but I don't like it that way, that's why I told you" Lily was stunned for a moment
"Wow Aiko you're too honest" Lily commented
"Why? Am I rude just now?" Aiko asked with a frowning face
"No, I prefer you being like that"
"Then its settled. Let's fix our things and the room. For now, I'll try the futon" Aiko said as she lay herself on the bed
"This is nice, I can live here for decades" she commented. Lily let out a small snicker.
"I can only care for the bed when I'm searching for the rooms, this apartment has the best quality of bed"
"It seems like you've been in other apartment" Lily said
"Yes I am"
Their conversation got interrupted when someone knock on the door. Lily hurried to open it and face the person outside. It was a tall man with a strong physic the one who talked at the meeting about the rules of the apartment.
"Is Ms Rovella here?" he asked
Lily turned her head towards Aiko who was busy checking her phone at the moment.
"Yes, wait for a minute" Lily came closer to Aiko
"Tristan is looking for you, get down now he's waiting outside the door"
"Tristan? Who's that?"
"That one that introduce us to the regulations" figuring out the person Aiko hurried to meet him at the door.
