It was a pleasant Saturday morning when Lily wakes up. She excitedly gets up from her bed, wash her face, eat some loaf bread and head out to see Ken. These became her regular schedule every weekend morning. She would run about the mansion and opened Ken's window and wake him up by jumping continuously at his bed. A sudden knock will make Lily stop and Mae-san will open the door of Ken's room.
"Ara! Ohayou Lily, hayai ne?"( Oh! Goodmorning Lily, you're early)
"Hai! Mae-san Ohayou gozaimasu" (Yes, Mae-san, Good morning) Lily greeted back cheerfully. By the passing of time, Lily get used of the words Mae-san and Ken says. She also asks sometimes to Ken what they were saying and what is its meaning but Ken sometimes don't tell because Lily always piss him off.
"Hora Ken-chan! Lily is already here get up now" Mae-san would pull his covers and pull him up to make him sit.
"Ugh! It's still early and its weekend why do I need to get up already?" Ken complained but no one was listening to him. Lily had already run to the kitchen to eat breakfast while Mae-san just left the room.
"That Lily, she'll pay for interrupting my sleep. Yurusanai!"

Ken and Lily stayed at the hut because it started to rain even though the sun was shining brightly. They were silent while watching the shower that creates a mild curve of rainbow.
"How do you say...That is beautiful in Japanese?" Lily asked Ken out of the blue. Ken gets his book and pen and started writing
"Here say it out loud" Ken said while handing his book to Lily "just read it" he continued
"Wa-ta-shi wa a-ho desu" (I-am-an-idiot) Ken burst out laughing and Lily was confused by his reaction. She furrowed her eyebrow and slowly get irritated with Ken, she spank him at his back for the first time
"What's so funny?" she asks but Ken continued to laugh out in his heart's content. That loud laugh of his echoed in the woods.
"I finally got back at you" Ken said in between his laughs
"Oh yeah? Though you look like a fool laughing out loud by yourself" Ken continued laughing
"Aho rashi desu ne?"(Like an idiot isn't it?) Ken suddenly stop laughing and stare at Lily
"Hey that's---" Lily pouted in front of Ken it was Ken's first time to see her pout like that. She found her cute and wants to tease her a little.
"Anata wa kawaii desu" (You are cute) Ken said with a genuine smile, though Lily didn't understand what he meant she felt as if Ken was complimenting her. He sound convincingly serious and his smile added an ambiguous air between them. She just furrowed her eyebrow and nodded avoiding Ken's gaze.
"It's been raining since last week, we can't play at the moor in this weather" Lily said without looking at Ken
"Then why don't we play while raining it's a different kind of fun!"
"It may be fun but a bit dangerous the rocks are slippery when it rains"
"Oh come on Lily, don't think that much we only have a day left and you're going back to school again. I'll be alone again at home. Come on...." Ken tries to be more pleasing. Lily wasn't that convinced though because she was confused of how Ken said those words, when he was always tailing her around even at school.
"Okay, just don't move around too much"
"You're such a scaredy-cat. Hurry up!"
Lily never thought that Ken was a playful child, she knows by experience that he's a coward and cries a lot but that coward and cry-baby somehow lifted the pain and anxiousness she always feels when she's alone. She really whole heartedly thinks that he was a pain and a troublemaker and she feel responsible for him. She was thankful for meeting him, though in that age she still doesn't know that what she feel towards the child Is a kind of compassion for a special person.
