This rant is about Overpowered Original Characters.
If you know me well, you know that I absolutely hate overpowered original characters. They drive me crazy. It's like they don't have any flaws. And in books, I look for relatable characters. Since all human beings have flaws, so should book characters.
Example: Harry Potter has a twin. She's in Gryfindoor, friends with the trio, has Dumbledore on their side, they speak parseltougue, all the teachers like her, she never fails at Quidditch, and has amazing adoptive parents.
