A/N so I had at least 400 words done on this chapter and it got deleted and I wanna kill myself. Like I already have enough crap to deal with. Pls no.

~Adele's pov~

I held both of Simon's hands as I skated backwards. He's such a clutz and it's adorable.

"Adele, I don't know about this" he said.

"Come on it's okay" I laughed again, "it's just like skating!"

"No, no it's not. To me it's not" he said shakily.

"Just go with the motion Si."

I tried to let his hands go but he grabbed for my waist and ended up making us fall on the ice.

I was cackling at this point. I won't ever forget this.

I had landed on top of him, looking down on him.

He was laughing with me, his breath hitting my face.

"Let's get you up" I giggled, standing up.

"Adele, I'm not sure I can do this" he said.

"If you want to go home, that's fine with me."

"Please" he said, still struggling to even stand.

I grabbed his hand and we made our way to the booth, taking off our skates, dropping them off and leaving them.

We walked hand in hand to his Rover.

I got in and put my seat belt on, smiling the entire time.

He turned up the radio and just my luck, Hometown Glory began to play. That song brings back so many memories.

I started to hum the beginning piano part, then began to sing.

I never once looked at Simon, I was just looking out the window, singing along to myself until I heard him join in.

"Round my hometown" he sang.

"You know it?" I looked at him.

He turned the volume down.

"Of course" he smiled.

I blushed a bit and looked away.

He then turned the volume up, but just a bit.

I started to sing softly,  his warm hand landing on my thigh.

We finally pulled into my house.

I got out, him following, walked up my steps and unlocked my door, leading him inside, shutting the door behind him.

"Do you want anything to drink?" I asked, taking my scarf off, along with my jacket.

"I'm fine" he said, sitting down on the couch.

"You know, it's rude to turn down a drink or food when someone offers it to you" I smirked.

"Well, that would just be a waste of your drinks love" he replied, standing up.

"But you could be sweet and accept my offer and at least take a sip" I slowly walked towards him.

"That's just rude" he said, towering over me.

"I don't believe it is."

"Oh but Adele it is," he said, his lips dangerously close to mine.

"I just don't see it..."

He placed his hands on my hips, gripping them slightly.

"Well... I do" he said, slowly closing what little space that was left between us.
