  Fionna let a sere smile overtake her lips as she took one last sip of her rum. The liquid ran down her throat, warming her.

Gingerly she stood up walked forward a few steps, closed her eyes tightly, and jumped.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cool night air whipped around her biting, nipping, scratching at her as she plummeted towards the ground.
Now if you had asked Fionna a couple months ago what she wanted to do with her life, she would of said she wanted to be a vet or police woman. Back then suicide had never crossed her mind, but now here she was doing it. She could feel her sister in heaven screaming at her to stop. It was too late in Fionna's opinion she just wanted to be reunited with her.
She didn't care that her dear sister would be angry she just wanted her hugs again. Or if she wasn't excepted into heaven maybe she could at least just perish.
Her mind went blank. And then she waited.... and waited...... and waited for the impact, but it never came. Fionna opened her eyes only to see her body was frozen in midair.
Before her stood a cloaked figure.
Oh good this must be death, she thought blearily.
"Oh my dear child I assure you I'm not death."
What the hell?
The figure pulled back it's hood, and a elderly woman appeared before her. Nothing about her seemed scary in fact she looked like one of those grandmas from Hallmark films.
The ones that made you too much food and pinched your cheeks. Though this was true something about her seemed a tad bit sinister. Fionna didn't know if it was her super bright yellow eyes or super high cheekbones.
"I am fate darling."
"Well fate could you maybe let me go so I can die?" She shot back.
The elderly woman chuckled lightly. "You expect that if you die you'll be with your sister right?"
Fionna nodded quickly. Fate shook her head at her.
"I won't let you die."
"Why not?!" The school girl shouted.
"Dearie you seem like a nice person, you know what I'll make you a deal." She said ignoring her.
"What, who, what exactly are you?" Fionna squeaked, balling her hands into fists.
A sly grin passed over her face. "That doesn't matter. What does matter is that there is a way to bring your sister back."
"Excuse me?"
The old ladies face practically had a toothy grin by now. "You see your sister and you are supposed to live way longer, but their was a mix up in the system. That being said I'm going to give you a way to go in and revive your sister."
"Go in where?" Fionna queried.
"The Underworld." Fate shouted dramatically yelled.
"All you have to do is not die, because if you die I can't save you anymore."
Fionna squinted in disbelief at her. "Ah yes! send a human to the underworld I'll certainly survive. Splendid idea."
The old lady shoved her hand into her pocket and started to pull out some things. First she pulled out a pendant that shone a beautiful sky blue.
"This my dear will make you blend in with the creatures of the underworld as long as you have it on. If you loose it or it comes off you're pretty much screwed."
