Darkness

     Darkness engulfed her. Lost memories flash in an instant and gone the next. 'Jesse' is all she could muster. Her name. Metal on metal screeched to a halt, and a blinding light flourished above her. Jesse's eyes adjusted to the light of a blue sky blocked with the silhouettes of a few teenage boys above her. An arm grasped her waist and lifts her to ground level.
     "I-it's a girl...", a blond haired boy around seventeen, the same one who lifted her out, said in a thick british accent.
     "A girl?"
     "Dibs!"
     Shouts and murmurs from the crowd made her feel suddenly self-conscious as she adjusted her shirt so it wouldn't expose her shoulder so much.
     "I'm Minho. Sorry about those shanks, greenie. Seeing as how you're the only girl and all.", a tall, muscular, Asian boy said in a rolling tone that made chills go down Jesse's spine for no apparent reason. She felt her face heat up.
     "Are you gonna answer me, or what?" He said.
      "Huh?.." she must have tuned out into the empty space where memories must've once been.
    "I said, do you have a name or what?" He repeated.
     "Jesse.." She said, as he offered a hand to help her up. She took it.
      "Want the tour?" He said, as she finally looked around the fields. She nodded.
      After the tour, she noticed he'd told her everything except the towering walls on the far sides of the walls.
       "What's out there?.." She pointed, and Minho followed her gaze to the farthest wall to their right.
     "Um...just the maze." he replied hesitantly.
     "A maze?" She questioned.
     "Yep."
     She didn't seem to notice that she had started to wonder up to it. Minho didn't seem to either, until she was at least 10 feet away. He started bolting towards her, and knocking her over. He landed on top of her, out of breath.
