why do all the greatest love songs link to celestial beings?
the stars lean down to kiss you and i lie awake and miss you
talking to the moon trying to get to you in hopes you're on the other side talking to me too
is it because the stars and the moon, like the person, are beautiful and glimmering, so far away, admired by all?
you're my stars
you're my moon
you're my planets
you're my sun
you're my sky
and without them, the world seems ugly.
