"Bring bring bring...." I opened my eyes, light flooding in from the windows. I throb beat my head mercilessly as I tried to sit up. I sat staring blankly for a moment. The metallic test of blood on my lips made my stomach turn. I stood to go wash out my mouth. I was a wobbly mess. My whole body ached from my unexpected sleep on the hard floor. But Why would I have fallen down the stairs, I'm usually a calm person so I don't rush around like an idiot a lot. Even if I did fall Dino would've found me by now. He's always up this early. I rubbed my head only to draw back my hand and wince feeling the lump the formed over night.

" I probably should go to the hospital. " I said to myself, in the empty house, that was always loud and cheery with Dino in it.

I grabbed a glass from the cabinet and went to the sink to fill it up. Then I remembered something. I couldn't find Dino last night. He didn't come home. The glass slipped from my fingers as stumbled back. He didn't come home. I'm alone, he's probably hurt and I can't help! I turned the faucet off and ran for the door not caring to change. I only grabbed my jacket and slide my feet in my shoes not even having them on all the way.

I pulled out my phone calling the one person I swore I'd never call but with the circumstances I had to let go of my pride. I almost thought he wouldn't answer but on the third ring he picked up and I almost dropped my phone buckling my seatbelt.

" hello." The deep voice of my father said. He sounded tired, its 6:20 so I'm sure he would be, and I almost hung up at the sound of him.

" dad."

" Jeonghan I told you-"

" I don't know where Chan is. He snuck out last night and didn't come h-home!" I said welling up as I tried to drive and talk. I knew I should've just let him go. He would've understood about my job. He always understands.

" what do you mean? " he asked sounding a little concerned," I knew you couldn't handle taking care of him. It was only a matter of time." Or so I thought. I choked on his words. Maybe he was right, but what did he do to help beside send a fucking check.

" don't judge me! What have you done besides let my mother be killed and leave me to take care of your mistakes. I've tried my hardest to grow up but I'm still a kid I'm still fitting in the shoes of a parent. All I ask is for you just to care about us for a minute so I can have the one I love most back dad! I don't have another family to go back to." I yelled into the phone venom in every word. My filter has officially been removed and the plug holding the water in my eyes released as well. My dad was silent and all I could hear was his breathing. Hard and forced.

" I have to go." I could hear the voice of a woman in the background calling him for breakfast. Sometimes I wonder if he would've married mom would we all be having breakfast together like that. Would we be happy. Could I have been a normal kid. I heard him sigh. With annoyance or disappointment there was no way of knowing but it wouldn't matter cause what he says next surprised me the most.

" if I hear anything about him I'll call you. Just don't do anything stupid." He says and the phone goes dead before I could answer.
