I sped. Fast. It was surprising no cops stopped me, but I've noticed they don't like doing their jobs lately. If the last place Dino's friends said they saw him was the studio others must have seen him. If I ask around maybe someone will know something.

As silly as my plan seemed it might work. There was no possible way no one saw him. There's so many people in town at night that that couldn't be an happen. I clutched the steering wheel harder as I noticed the rain had picked up. Did he wear a jacket out? Does he have shelter? Food? The more it rained the more I got worried. Dino has been really sheltered so he's not used to bad weather and he gets sick easily. If he is just hiding trying to scare me he'll have one hell of a cold.

I pulled into a store parking lot and pulled my hood over my head before stepping out and locking my car. I sighed not even knowing how to start. But before I had to long to think I saw three girls walking under a bright pink umbrella and decided to just go and ask. They were all dressed warmly and seemed to be having a heated conversation about which actor was hottest. When they saw me coming they all stopped talking and made faces.

" uh hi..." I said pulling the picture from my pocket. Even though I've been out more than Dino I'm still awkward with people too. Actually I'm terrified of them. The only reason I can work in the cafe is because I don't have to be me, I'm someone else. Someone who isn't vulnerable and empty. There I'm confident and beautiful like normal people not scarred and terrified of things as natural as wind.

" do we know you?" One of the girls asked sounding a little annoyed.

" I uh- I'm looking for my-"

" wow your pretty cute." Another girl said reaching out from under their umbrella to pull at my hood. I flinched back and held out the picture.

" h-have you seen him." I said voice cracking and eyes pleading. The third girl was the only one actually paying attention while the other two were saying I was cuter than the actor they were once fangirling over.

The third girl who was slightly chubby with a blonde bob cut smiled sadly and shook her head," I'm sorry I haven't seen him. Is he missing?" She asked and I almost blurted a "duh" but I didn't since she was the only one even listening.

" yeah. Uh thanks." I said and walked away head down and picture back in my pocket. The girls went on about their business, although the short blonde had glanced my way but didn't say anything else.

Multiple others turned me away with no time to spare and the ones who didn't turn me away said they didn't see anything. The further I got into town the more crowded it got and you'd think the better chance someone had seen Dino but more people just shoved me claiming I was waisting there time. I clenched my jaw ready to fuck someone up. They all were to busy with there lives to help me find my only lifeline. I feel like my whole purpose for life is gone without Dino.

I made my way down the strip of stores asking everyone. People just kept going. I was soaked down to the bone and shivering and I was ready to give up. When I got to the area he was last seen I made more of an effort to get attention.
