Chapter 5

Sayaki P.O.V

      The class is training with Karasuma again...I have to control my strength to prevent anyone from suspecting me...

      "Oofff!"Karasuma knocked the wind out of me when I pretended to lower down my guard.

      The bell rang soon after.

      Assassination training period was over after Isogai and Maehara failed to hit Karasuma.

      "K...Karma-kun!"

      I stopped and turned around.

      Nagisa was face to face with a red head.His eyes were mercury in colour
...

      There is something familiar with his eyes...

       "Ehh?"

       Crap.

        The guy called 'Karma' caught me staring at him.He gave me a smirk as he went to shake Koro-Sensei's hand.

      Boom.

      Just like that,Koro-Sensei's tentacle was blown off.

      I stared wide eyed.

      How did someone beat me to it?

     As I stared,I felt myself slowly leaking bloodlust.

     With glowing eyes,I glared as I stood my ground.

    This...reminds...me of something....
 
    "Ano...Sayaki?"

     Okuda's voice made me snap into realisation.

     I must have been showing too much of my bloodlust.

   Covering it up with a happy aura,I plastered a fake smile onto my face as I turned to look at her.

     "Hai?"

   Okuda flinched she pushed her glasses upwards.I groaned inwardly but pasted a patient smile onto my face.

     "N..nevermind..."

     Once Okuda left,I found myself face to face with Karma.

      I wasn't at all stunned but I faked a squeak anyways.

     Karma chuckled as he held out his hand.

      I shook it.

      "Akabane Karma.And you are?"

      "Sayaki Mizuki,"

     "Oh!Pleasure to meet you.....unless....we've met before?"

     This time I flinched for real.

      Then,Karma walked away,leaving me speechless.

     *Time skip woop woop!*

     Over the day,Karma tried everything he could to annoy Koro-Sensei.

     But by the second day,he had almost given up.

     "Karma...."

     Nagisa and I found him hanging by a old tree trunk.

     Karma was impatiently chewing his fingernails.

     "Karma-kun...Its okay....We can assassinate him together!"

      "Yea...Once that octopus gets his eyes on you,it will be 100 times harder to assassinate it,"I said with a slight sneer.

      "Karma-kun?I've certainly taken good care of you today right?"

       Ugh.The yellow octopus is here.

      I decided to zone out because it was obivous that the octopus was going to talk Karma out of it.

     But boy,I was half wrong.

     From the corner of my eye,I saw Karma falling.

    My eyes widened as I screamed.

    Everything seemed to go in slow motion as Koro Sensei caught Karma.

    "B...baka...D..Dont you ever do that again!"I sniffled as I hit Karma on his chest.A few stray tears fell from my eyes.

    Crap.I forgot my facade again.Quickly,I let go of Karma and walked to Nagisa,feigning a sad smile.Boy was I embarrassed.

Karma P.O.V

     Once Sayaki walk back to the campus,I placed my hand my chest.Sayaki....was crying?

    Does she perhaps.....

      I groaned.Sayaki was so complicated.One moment she seemed like she was ready to murder me,another minute she was crying because of me.

     As I walked down the mountain,I caught sight of strawberry hair.Great.Just great.

    Asano was looking down,as I walked past him,he grabbed my shirt and whispered;

      "Does she remember you?"

     I shook my head sadly while Asano gave me a sympthetic look.I glanced at him.

     Because of her,Asano and I weren't complete rivals.But the only thing was,I was cast off in the shadows while he was in the spotlight.

    What a cruel world.
