Chapter 8

Sayaki P.O.V

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

The sound was constantly repeating.The darkness I was in was comforting.

I couldn't see my hands,my feet...But I knew I was alive.

It was a strange feeling...

"Sayaki.....Please.....Wake up....I need you....."

  Karma whispered.

   I felt something warm on my cheek.

  Is....Karma....CRYING?!

   I willed myself to open my eyes but when I did,I immediately closed them again.

  Lights...Too....bright...

  I heard a sniffle.

   "S...Sayaki-chan..?"

    I smiled and opened my eyes,this time prepared to be blinded.

   "The one and only"

    Karma's face was red and he had bags under his eyes.

    I sat up,ignoring the protests by my pounding head.

    I groaned and took a moment to composed myself before asking

    "Where am I?Why am I here?"

     Karma sighed and said
   
     "You're in a hospital,dummy"

      Oh.OHHHHH.

      I am officially the stupidest human alive.The smell....the all white room..
OF COURSE IM IN A HOSPITAL.

      I felt my face heat up in embarrassment as I nodded my head,signalling Karma to answer my next question.
      "Well....Umm...You...overdosed....you almost...died..."Karma said through gritted teeth.

    I almost thought he was joking but when I saw that his face was plain serious,I realised that he was NOT joking at all.

   My jaw dropped.

    "B...but I....never...I...didn't do it...on purpose....I.."

     Karma clenched his fist as he looked down,his red bangs covering his eyes.
   
    "I...I know you wouldn't too....but...The school...your parents....arranged therapy for you...they said...it would help...they said you needed help..."

    I sighed.Of course they would.But I'm fine...why can't they see that?

   Are you sure though?

   Maybe they just want to get rid of a burden like you...

  I spun around and braced myself.The heart monitor also started beeping faster.

  Karma looked at me in surprise as I sunk into the covers again.
 
   "I..just...thought...I heard something..."

     I half lied.I didn't just THINK i heard it.No,it was definately there.But the voice haunting me was the worst punishment I could get.

     Naomi's voice.The loud and arrogant voice.

     Karma sighed as he went to get a glass of water for me.

     I thankfully chugged it down and the cool liquid soothed my dry throat.

    Then,Karma ordered some pizza(A/N  im no doctor so idk whether Sayaki shld be eating some pizza or not...)
