Oh lord help us. Ok so I was at a show and it had just previously sprinkled a bit. So Buck was rly rly antsy so I took him out to practice and work off his nerves. In the practice pen there's a one barrel. I took Buck to trot/walk around it. Someone dropped a ramp to their trailer and it spooked Buck and he took off. So I'm pulling and trying to pat him down to keep him calm. Somewhere along that half second I give him some slack in the reins and he makes a run for that barrel. At this point he's flying and throwing dirt into the air. He decides he wants to turn that barrel while he's running like a fricking racehorse. So he slips and we both go down. So it turns out that one person saw us fall. My parents were actually signing me up for my events. So Buck gets up and I was on the ground looking up at him, I was so surprised. When he gets the chance to run away he usually does, but he just stood there and looked at me like, "why are you down there?" I get up and work my hands down him to make sure he's alright, we both were fine. So I sit there and just laugh. While there is at least 10 people running out there to make sure I'm alright, I'm just laughing. It was pretty darn funny.
