chapter 6 - Date

Katie's POV

"This is our room, Katie." He said and paused. I looked around and see there was a love seat and TV to the left. There was a desk on the right and a door next to it. "That's the bathroom." Isaac said and I nodded. I looked over and saw two more doors. "That's a closet." He said pointing to the one next to the TV. "This one." He said and walked to it. "This can be where your brother stays. I thought it would be a little small, but I know you won't want him anywhere away from you... So, this is it." He said and I looked in the little room. It looked like it used to be a closet too. There was a bed all the way in the back with a small stand next to it. There was a box next to the night stand. When I looked in it, there were all Kc's toys, so it's a toy box. There were two dressers near the door. His cloths were already in them. This was a nice place for him to stay. I looked back and Isaac was standing in the door frame. I walked to him and smiled, and then I hugged him. He hugged back and we just stayed like that for a while.

"I'm sorry." He whispered. I leaned back so I could look at him.

"For what? "I asked confused.

"Telling the pack. I just am scared to lose you. Your dad could come back at any moment, and if he does, I want to be ready. If something happens to you, I would never forgive myself... And if you died, I couldn't live with myself. I just-" I stopped him by crashing my lips to his. He smiled in the kiss before he kissed back.

"Katie." Isaac said pulling away. "Can... Can I... Um... Can I take you on a date tonight?" He asked nervously.

"Yes." I said and he picked me up and kissed me spinning us around. He set me down and smiled.

"Could we go tonight? I mean it's Friday..." He said sounding nervous again. I just smiled and nodded my head. "Ok great!"

"So, is it going to be casual or?" I asked

"Well nothing fancy... It's just special. So, you can come causal. Either way you look beautiful. "He said smiling. I blushed and hid my face from embarrassment. He cupped my face in his hands. "You don't need to be embarrassed. I think it's cute when you blush, especially when I'm the one who made you blush." He said and I blushed again. He kissed my nose then grabbed my hand and led me out of our room. We headed to the theater when we were stopped.

"Hey, Isaac. "Jason said running from behind us to in front of us. "Maddie wants to meet Katie." He said and we all stopped. A girl came next to Jason smiling. Jason looked at her with happiness in his eye. "Katie, this is Maddie. Maddie is my mate." Jason said with pride.

"Hi Katie! I'm so happy to meet you! You look so pretty, and I've heard so many good things about you!" Maddie said grabbing my hand and pulling me into a hug. "I think we'll be great friends." She whispered then let go. A smile grew on my face. She wanted to be my friend. I will finally have a friend. I've never had one before. I hope she won't leave me like everyone else has.

Isaac took my hand and intertwined our fingers. 'She will love you even more when you guys get close.' Isaac said in my head, and I smiled at him forgetting he could read my mind.

"Aw! You guys are so cute!" Maddie giggle/yelled. "So, you guys wanna go see a movie?" Maddie asked us and we nodded. We all walked to the theater room and were about to put a movie in, but didn't get a chance before the boys had to leave.

"My dad is calling me and Jase for a quick meeting. We'll be in my office. We'll be right back." Isaac said kissing my forehead then leaving.

"Be right back, babe." Jason said kissing Maddie then leaving with Isaac. Maddie turned to me with a grin.

"We can go to my room and get to know each other better, sound good?" She said hopeful I would say yes. I nodded and she grabbed my wrist pulling my down the hall, next to my room was hers. She pulled me to her bed and she sat down, pulling me down with her. "So- I know that your mom died and your dad has abused you... But what things do you like to do and all? Any friends? Other family members? Hobbies?" She said sounding sad mentioning my family.
