Our fault

Mark was quite the mature between the two, he'd stopped a third world war between Jas and Luke. The whole day was fun, they showed her the shops, McDonalds, library, and some other places she couldn't understand why she needs to know them, like the police station.

Luke was a walking fun, he and Jas were playfully arguing all the time but Anna could see the chemistry between the two, it might be her imagination but the looks they give each other when they think nobody is watching are an evident of something else rather a friendship. And the way they are in each other skin, is like an old married couple.

The thought of old Jas and old Luke married and still bickering on each other made Anna smile like a fool.

Now, jas is chasing Luke for putting some nasty insect in her hair. She's screaming murder . I'd be digging my grave if I were in Luke's shoes , Anna smiled at the thought.

'' what's on this pretty face of yours ?'' asked mike.

'' nothing just the way Jas and Luke fight like an old married couple. It's so funny to imagine them together '' Anna answered with a giggle.

'' I know right'' Mike chuckled too at the image of his loony friends '' that'd be the beginning of the third world war Anna '' he said and Anna giggles turned into laughs.

'' hey what's so funny you two ?'' Jas comes to sit beside the two with her arms folded.

Anna and mike look at each other and blurted together ''nothing''

'' why do I think you're making fun of me'' she accused.

'' oh it's all in your brains Jas'' Mike teased her '' it could be the effect of Kieran is getting on you too''

'' oh shut up Mikey don't ruin this perfect day'' she warned.

'' you'll pay for that Jasmine , I promise '' grunts Luke and sits between Anna and mark ''she kicked me in the balls oh god I might be infertile now'' Luke groans and duck his head behind me '' take her away Anny , she's a monster''

Anna cringed at his words and mike horrified face '' oh girl, remind me to not be in your bad side Ever ''

Jas chuckled and gets up '' he deserve it'' she sticks her tongue out '' move your lazy butts, I'm hungry let's go to the McDonalds'' she heads to the car.

'' last to the car will pay'' Luke shouts as her made the run of his life.

Mike stands in hurry taking Anna's hand in his huge one and drag them to the car. Unfortunately, they come last. But mike being the gentleman he is he offered to pay with pleasure.

As the girls found a stool and sat, the guys went to the rest room.

Anna remembered what happened in the cafeteria hall and she wanted some answers to fulfil her curiosity.

'' Jas , can I ask you something?'' Anna stammered.

'' shoot Anna ''

'' the guy, with black hoodie, you know him don't you?''

'' Anna that guy he is- - he was someone we know but he's changed .now he's so dangerous Anna he- - he used to so different '' she sighed. '' it's our fault'' she whispered, '' never mind, please stay away and don't talk about him around the guys you see how last time went''

''last question, what's his name?''

'' Aaron ''

''Aaron '' she tries the name on her lips.

'' did you order or still waiting '' Luke comes and sit on the stool beside Jas, followed by Mike. Jas shook her head and called for the waitress to get their orders.

It was 9 o'clock now and they had to head home, after this great day.

Anna was amazed at how much fun she got today, it's like old days with Joshua and him.

'' hey Anna, where do you live ?'' Luke asks, but Anna didn't want to go home yet.

'' can you drop me at the ice-cream kiosk , I want to walk for a little bit'' she tells him.

He frowns but nods his head, he knows very well when you don't need any body to press you to talk.

'' here, this your stop princess'' Luke opens the safety button of the car door. Anna thanks them and they wished her a good night.

She steps out of the car and start walking without a direction, thinking about the whole day. First Aaron punches her. Aaron she tries his name on her lip as if tasting some new receipt , and she does like it very much. She remembers when she touched his hands to clean the blood, her body shudders at the thought. How he pushed her onto the ground, the look he gave her in the school hall. His eyes, they weren't scary, they were scared for sure.

Then meeting Jas and the boys, they brought joy to her day. Luke, Jas, Mark, Andrew and Reid. They were her new friends. She actually made friends in her first day here , she thought happily.

Then she remembered her mum words and what she said and guilt start to consume her she should return home and apologize, her mum teary face popped up in her mind and she turned the opposite way going home, but muffled sounds jolted her, one of them was somehow familiar.

She tracts the direction of sounds to see four figures, one of them was a man in business suit , in each side of him were two bulky men, they must be his bodyguards. The other one was for sure Aaron, he was holding his sides in pure agony.

suddenly she stomps on a stick, and two figures look her way.
