THIS IS JUST A SUMMARY OF WHAT HAS HAPPENED SO FAR! SO LET'S BEGIN!!
1. Dakota cut his hair, changed his pronouns and name, and came out to his mom who in turn hasn't gotten him a gender therapist or estrogen blockers but did let him express his gender by getting him a haircut, male clothing and a binder and also by enrolling him in school as a new male student.
2. He finally goes to school, thinking he is going to have a great day, he was spacing out completely ran into the school bully and got outted to everyone, Devin the other transboy stood up for him and punched Derek Williams--the school bully in the face, and Devin invites Dakota to hang out with him after school leaving Dakota stunned but happy.
3. We get a glance at Devins life and how he came to be a this school and why he is the favorite among teachers as well as a well known student.
4. We get a look into Derek's life and find out that the bullying started after he made the mistake of kissing his childhood best friend Curtis Parker, he thought he was gay and has been going through emotional turmoil since then due to his family being extremely transphobic, we also find out that his dad is an alcoholic and druggie and beats on him Daily, we also discover that he his bullying of Dakota was a combination of his disgust of the idea of being gay combined with the fact that he had a crush on Dakota but was hanging in severe denial, mixed with anger of the feelings he doesn't wish to have.
5. Here we learn that Curtis is actually a female and only did what she did because she could not bare being thought of as male, she runs into Derek and hopes he doesn't recognize her
6. Derek does recognize Lilith who was previously Curtis, but because of her aura and not her looks, she convinces him to stop bullying people and can't bring herself to accidently fall for him, so she simply agrees to be friends with him and he is currently trying to win her hand in hopes that they will soon be together.
7. Dakota and Devin go on the date to the bookstore, and end up running into Gigit and Gizmo who's real names are Damian and Emmett[not revealed to Dakota and Devin yet] they decide to go to hot topic and spencers and end up running into Derek Williams and Liltih Parker, Derek apologizes and they all decide to go to Hot Topic and Spencers together.
8. Ashles thought she was going to be alone while everyone left but then a girl named Emmy comes along after hearing about lesbian academy, buys the book for her and then takes her to hot topic and spencers, it seems clear to me that emmy has a crush on ashles, but does ashles feeel the same way? how will this effect her and what will she think when she figures out that she's not exactly as straight as she once thought she was..
