WOOHYUN's POV

Seated beside each other in a spot overlooking the magnificent night view of the Han River, it was an awkward silence at first. All I could hear is just the distant noise from the people nearby and our unsteady breathing, while the silly wind teased me with her sweet scent.

Feeling uneasy, I licked my lips. This won't do. Where did the over-the-top Woohyun go?

I casually removed my coat and offered the same to her after clearing my throat. "Here.. I know just how much you hated the cold."

"Thanks," she mumbled without looking at me. "How about you?"

"Don't worry about me, the cold won't make me less handsome." I replied in an attempt to lighten up the mood. "Or you can share it with me if you want.." With crossed fingers, I added.

She chuckled and wiggled her fingers, her mannerism whenever I get greasy at times. Okay, most of the time. Okay fine, always.

However, what she did next startled me. She really shared the coat with me.

No.

She wrapped the coat over my shoulders and then she wrapped herself in my arm, snuggling close to me while giggling.

"Yah!" Half-yelling in shock, I leapt off my seat. "That's foul.."

"Why?"

"You almost gave me a heart attack." I wrapped the coat back to her shoulders before moving a few inches away from her. "You better stay away from me if you don't wanna cross the line, yes?"

"Idiot," she mumbled again before her clumsy smile turned into a grin. "So.. When did it start?"

Looking at the farthest part of the dark horizon as if trying to trace where the river water ends, I sighed. "I don't know." I shrugged before my fingers fiddled with the wrist band in my other arm. "Maybe it was when you had your first suitor. Or maybe that day when you were first rejected by your crush. Or maybe when you had your first period and you cried your heart out then forced me to bring you to a doctor. " She laughed. "Or maybe when I first noticed that you like Key."

"But that was when.." Slowly, her eyes widened. "You were there?" She frowned when I nodded. "But you said you had something to do." She looked straight to my eyes. "Why didn't you tell me?

"Will it change anything?"

"No, but.."

"Exactly why I didn't tell you. Saying it won't change anything and I don't want to ruin your relationship, much as I didn't want to lose my two best friends." I tried to sound casual 'though deep inside I was bleeding.

"The Infinite knows too right?" She inquired and I nodded. "And that's what the side comments were all about."

Defensively, I shook my head. "I didn't tell them. They just found out..or realized..or call it whatever. You know that they are beyond capable of telling what the slightest movement of my toenails mean."

"They're too nosy to begin with." She looked down, then looked back to me again, opening her arms for a hug. "Come here," she mumbled and I obliged.

She hugged me tight, so tight that I found it hard to breath. After some seconds, I felt her shoulders shaking, and I could tell she's silently crying. I returned the hug just as tight as hers, letting her tears find refuge in my sweatshirt while my heart ached with her.

"I'm so sorry Woohyun-ah. I'm really really sorry. I didn't know that loving Key would hurt you in the process. But what do I do? I love him, and I could only give my heart to him." Her tears became unstoppable, adding salt to my wounded heart.
