2 weeks later Brooklyn's POV 3:00pm
Taehyung hasn't really come around, and I kind of miss him, but I can't focus on that right now since Hoseok will be here soon. His flight left around 3am this morning, so he should be here pretty soon. Thankfully school was cancelled due to inclement weather, and it's a Friday so I'll have all weekend to spend with him.
Around 5pm, Hoseok finally arrived and you had no clue what to think. He was much taller than you and still the same, cheerful boy you FaceTimed two weeks ago. "Oh my gosh! You're actually here! How long are you staying," you question, hoping he stays at least a week. Like it's no big deal, he replies, "two months, is that okay?" Casually grinning, you nod your head plenty of times. Well cool, I get to spend two months with him! Maybe I'll get over Taehyung by the time Hoseok leaves.
As you show him around the house, your phone rings. Taehyung is calling. What does he want? Right as you reach for the phone, it stops ringing. Hmm, guess he didn't want to talk. You proceed with the tour until he suggests to get some dinner. The both of you agreed to a restaurant inside of the mall nearby since it's fast and there's more time to shop. Although you had no money on you, Hoseok could still shop for necessities and whatever he needs.
Halfway through the shopping spree, you spot Taehyung and Scarlett together, which stops you in your tracks. "What's wrong, Brooklyn? Is everything okay," he questions, then looks in the direction of my eyes. "Who is that," yet another question from him. "Oh, uhm. Nobody. Let's go," you gulp. Shaking his head, he takes your hand into his and drags you along. Oh no, what's he thinking? There were no confrontations, just Hoseok walking straight past Taehyung and sitting right beside their table. "What are you doing," I whisper towards him. No words, just a shake of his head. After a minute of awkward silence, he practically yells, "hey Brooklyn, why don't we go back home and cuddle while watching Netflix. Yeah?" Mentally slapping yourself, you slowly nod and agree to his idea. Taehyung obviously noticed, for the fact that he stared straight into your eyes as you walked by. You could tell that his eyes were burning through Hoseok, seeping with jealously. I guess that's what he gets for ditching me.
Hoseok did as he promised when you both arrived to your house. He put on a tv show and patted the couch for you to sit down beside him. Laughing, you slowly walk towards the dilapidated couch. We needed to replace it, but I haven't seen my parents in months. They have my aunt drop off groceries and whatever else I need, so replacing furniture hasn't been on their to-do list. Right as I reach the edge of the couch, I'm dragged onto it, into a cuddle. Looks like someone is the affectionate type. The rest of the night was spent telling jokes and watching American Dad, and of course, Hoseok was the first one to fall asleep. I really didn't want to leave him on the couch, but I knew that today was pretty long and he must be tired from the plane ride.
3:43am
A gentle tapping is placed upon your shoulder. Who is that? Nobody is- oh wait, Hoseok. Opening one eye at a time, you see his bed head and he asks you something, which you couldn't hear too well at first. "Huh?" "Brooklyn, can I. Uh. Sleep with you? I can't sleep too well and I think it'll help sleeping with someone," shyly, he says. It was too early to talk, so you nodded your head slowly and you could feel him climb in your bed, laying right beside you. "Don't worry, I won't do anything I just-" Almost inaudible, you reply, "no it's okay. Sleep well." That was the last thing you remember before falling asleep again.10:24am
I wake with Hoseok's arms wrapped around my torso, which is an odd yet satisfying feeling, it's hard to explain. Wishing that I could stay like this a bit more, I gently move his arms and sneak towards the kitchen. What's for breakfast, eggs? Bacon? French toast? Why not all? But before you do that, you turn on the radio and start to cook. Around the end of cooking breakfast, you glance towards the radio and see Hoseok dancing along to the upbeat song. Speaking up, you say, "where'd you get those dance moves." It obviously spooked him because he jumped a little, and he shyly replies, "ah, I started dancing since I was younger and used to dance underground." Underground dancing? That's really cool, but you needed to focus on finishing breakfast. Last thing to do was top the French toast with your homemade caramel syrup. "And where'd you learn how to cook like this, this is amazing," he exclaims from behind you, food still in his mouth. Now it was your turn to be shy, "I just look up recipes and make it. Most of the time I play around with ingredients and it sticks so." Judging from his happy face, you can tell that he enjoyed your food and there was more to come in the upcoming two months.
