There is a soul in every man and there is a man in every soul. We believe in angles and in god, we believe what happens, happens for a reason and we believe in the light after the tunnel. What some people don’t understand is that we can’t see the angles or god so how do we know what is wrong or right? How do we know that reasons for what happened will be good? And how to we know there will be light after the tunnel?
No, we don’t know where life will take us for the good or the bad we just know that we have to go on with what we have and what we will be. It’s the monster in us that scares us, some stories are just meant to be stories for our own sake.
“Miss Collin I was expecting to see you on Sunday, what brings you here before day?”
“I um wanted to talk to you, this couldn’t wait till Sunday”
“Very well come in dear” Lara James is a very famous therapist, she is indeed the best. Mrs. James is a middle aged woman she has a thin figure, her brunette locks are tied in a tight bun, her skirt reached her knee with a collar shirt stucked in with a small coat. She had brown eyes and a small line of mascara on top with rose pink lips. She was very professional in style and in her work.
“What brings you so early?” she said as I took a seat in front of her.
“Well, you’ll call me crazy but I saw my Jessica but before I saw her, I heard voices and I’m not crazy or anything but I really saw her. Mrs. James started to write on her small note pad and then looked up at me again.
“So you think she is here?”
“I think so..”
“Miss Collin you know the dead can’t come back to life”
“I didn’t meant it that way” I muttered
“Then you think your being haunted? By Jessica?”
“Yes”
“Miss Collin how are you so sure you’re being haunted?”
“Because I found that alley where she was
Murdered and I saw the whole scene play out in front of me”
“Miss Collin I hope you know that is not possible”
“Anything is possible”
“Miss Collin this isn’t possible the dead can’t come back to life nor can you haunted by Jessica because the dead is dead her body might be bones by now!”
“So are you suggesting I’m going crazy?” I said looking up into her eyes.
“Not crazy but unbalanced”
“Stop sugar-coating! I know you think I’m mad just say it!” this was an outrage! I thought she was supposed to help me!
“Miss Collin even if I do believe you that Jessica is back and is ‘haunting’ you, why is she back? What does she want? Have you ever thought about that?”
“No” I said quietly looking at my laces of my shoes as twisted my fingers in my seat. I heard Lara sigh and then she continued
“Madeline, there are just some things we can’t explain” That was it, I am sick of tired of people telling me that! I pushed myself off my chair grabbed my bad and walked out making sure I slam the door behind me making a loud bang.
The Christmas lights were getting up by now, people smiling laughing as I pass by them, the payment was wet with snow on the corners. The sky was getting darker as the clouds covered the sky. The weather was cold and a little misty.
