"never have I ever?"

-

Lissa came to the Gryffindor common room after dinner that night and, despite my earlier unspoken words, she brought Christian. I was sitting in one of the squishy red arm chairs next to a roaring fire facing the portrait hole, easily able to see the two people who walked through.

"Lissa," I grinned at her before turning a faux smile towards the boy standing next to her. "And Christian it seems."

"Rose," He nodded his head towards me, keeping his place next to the princess.

"How fabulous to see you," Lissa sat down on the sofa next to me, Christian placing himself next to her, catching my eye.

"Play nice," She murmured. I rolled my eyes. "Where is everyone?"

"Dimitri's training-"

"And he didn't drag you with him?" Lissa cut me off. "Jesus thats kind of an achievement for you."

I nodded and continued. "The others are at detention."

"Detention?" She asks.

"The paintballs," Christian mutters in his agonisingly mysterious way.

"Right," Lissa nods in understanding. She looks along the four walls, packed with fabricated garlands, all in Gryffindor's signature theme and with the houses lion. "What's the time anyway?"

"Not a clue," I further into the warmth of the fire. "Apparently Gryffindors don't care for time keeping."

"That's the opposite of Ravenclaw," Lissa states. "There's pretty much a clock above every bed."

"It's ten to nine," Christian said.

"Thanks," Lissa smiles at him and he leans down to press a kiss to her cheek. I roll my eyes and look around the room.

"Lily," I catch her attention from across the room as she walks down the stores from our dormitory. She spots me and heads across to our small trio.

"Hey," She smiles. "Have a good day?"

"As good as sitting in Transfiguration class can get I guess," I grin at her. "Guys." I signal to Lissa and Christian who were laughing with their heads close together. "This is Lily."

"Hi," Lissa looked away from Christian and up to her.

"This is Lily," She sits down in our circle on the rug next to the fire.

"Comfy?" I ask her with my eyes raised. She shrugs at me. The portrait hole opens again and Dimitri walks in and comes over to us.

He looks sweaty and his muscles were bulging under his black workout shirt, despite his obvious relaxation. He looks at me. "I have news."

"Yeah well go change first," I try to keep my eyes trained on his. "You stink."

He shakes his head and moves up the stairway to his rooms. In the time that Dimitri was changing his clothes, the Marauders had re-entered the room after their detention and immediately sat with us, James sitting on the rug next to Lily much to her dismay.

"So whats this news you have?" I ask when Dimitri returns.

"Our lessons start tomorrow," I instantly new what he meant. The lessons where we explain our history, our past and our present, to the students of Hogwarts school.

"Damn," Sirius groans. "More classes. How fun."

I, on the other hand, grinned wickedly. "Well, maybe our school days will begin to be fun."

Dimitri catches my eye and shakes his head. I shrug and smile innocently at him.

"Either way," James says. "More classes."

"Yeah, and more classes equal more assignments," Sirius adds.

"Sit down," I nod my head to the only spare armchair in front of me and he moves across our circle and sits down, looking slightly out of place.

"How was detention?" Lissa asks from next to me.

"Alright," Remus says from the opposite side of my armchair.

"McGonagall is never too harsh on the first week detentions," James pulls his knees up to his chest. Peter nods in agreement.

"No more school talk," Sirius moans from his place across from me. He sits up straighter. "Let's do something fun."

"A game, perhaps?" James grins.

Remus makes a small sound of annoyance at their exchanged looks.

"What type of game?" Christian asks, his arm around Lissa's shoulders.

"What about," Sirius pretends to tap his chin in thought while looking at his partner in crime.

"Never have I ever?" James looks at Sirius in question.

"Perfect."
