"you're a good novice"

-

"I love breakfast," Sirius was sitting next to me and I laughed at him. James was on my other side with Peter, Remus and Dimitri sitting in front of me. To be perfectly honest Dimitri looked very out of place.

"Me to Pads, me to," James chuckled.

"I thought I said to be careful around the Marauders," Lily was standing behind me with her hands on her hips with a glare on her face that was facing James and Sirius. "They will probably corrupt you."

I had completely forgotten what Marauders were.

"Right sorry," I glanced at Dimitri behind me. "Who are they again?" Lily sighed but smiled straight after.

"The people around you," Lily pointed.

"Oh yea," I remembered her saying. "Its to early. Nothing anyone says will go into my brain unless its past six."

"Its 7:30," Lily said checking her watch.

"At night," Lily laughed at me and shook her head walking away.

Im behind you. Lissa said through the bond.

"Hi Lis," I said without turning around. She squeezed in between me and Sirius. And turned towards me. Sirius looked down at her ass. I gave hime a death glare and he looked away scared.

"I want to tell you something," Lissa said.

"You just did."

"Fine, two things," Lissa said.

"You just did," I say nonchalantly. I could see James smirking at Sirius.

"Shut up idiot," She glared. "This is important."

"Never said it wasn't," I lifted a forkful of bacon to me lips.

"I'm just going to tell you," She knocked the bacon out of my hands.

"I was eating that," I exclaimed.

"Come with me," She grabbed my arm.

"Why?"

"Because I need to tell you something."

"Tell me here."

"No."

I sighed. I knew I was probably going to end up moving. That was when she, again, spoke to me through the bond.

I slept with Christian last night.

I choked on my water. That was not what I expected.

"What the hell?" I looked over at Christian at the Ravenclaw table. He wasn't facing me. I glared at the back at his head. Dimitri raised an eyebrow. I turned back to Lissa. "Why?"

"What," She asked me.

"Why?" I repeated my question.

"I dunno," She looked confused. "Can we talk about it outside."

"No."

"Why not," She declared.

"Because I'm starving and haven't eaten since dinner," I grabbed my fork of bacon again.

"Damn you Rose Hathaway," She said laughing. I grinned at her retreating back.

"I hate when you talk through the bond," Dimitri said.

"And why is that?"

"Because it makes me curious," He looked me in the eyes. "So what were you talking about?"

"I can't tell you," I teased.

"And why is that?" He repeats my earlier words. I lean closer to me and put my elbows on the table.

"Because if I tell you that," I bite my lip. "Then I would have to kill you."

"I'd like to see you try," He grins at me. I lean back.

"Pass me the jam will you Sirius," Sirius passes me the jam. "Now. Onto more pressing matters."

Dimitri looks up at me.

"Now I'm curious," Remus said while sitting up. Peter nodded along with him and I rolled my eyes.

"When are the training sessions going to be Comrade?" I say to Dimitri.

"I've been thinking about that," He puts down his spoon. "The first one can be tomorrow at lunch. It will give us time to settle in."

I nodded at him. I noticed Kirova walking over towards us and I groaned out loud.

"You two will go around classes and watch over the students," She said. "You will stay in those classes and in our own made classes you will help teach them about our race." She said all this then walked away.

"I still don't get why I'm here," I say. "I mean, I'm not even a Guardian yet. Just a novice."

"Yes," Dimitri smirked. "But you're a good Novice."
