Ietsuna's POV

I went home at about 5:00 in the morning.

The house was dark and cold, as if someone haven't stepped inside for a month.

I placed my bag down and took off my shoes, throwing them at the side of the entryway in the process. I flicked on the light switch and the lights suddenly bursted into life.

My eyes slowly adjusted as my sight started clearing.

Huh. It's far too...

"Empty."

My voice carried out till the kitchen, causing the sound to echo eerily.

Where the hell did everyone go?

"Kaa-san?"

Huh. She's not here, must be out shopping I guess...

Oh right, we still have someone living here.

I grinned widely, my eyes glinting under the light.

"OI DAME-TSUNA, STOP BEING DISRESPECTFUL AND GREET YOUR BROTHER!"

I shouted as I waited for response, but all I got was-...

Silence.

"Fvcking worthless piece of crap, can't even greet me? Ha. Disgusting. He's probably scared out of his mind by now."

The faint sound of my steps was the only thing heard, aside from my ramblings.

I climbed up the stairs and knocked down Dame-Tsuna's door.

"Oi what the hell did I sa-..."

My voice came into a halt as I saw the room.

It was empty. Far too empty.

My first automatic response was to check the drawers and the closet

I opened it and came into a halt.

There was nothing there.

"It's as if Dame-Tsuna never exist in the first place...."

I proceeded to do the same with the remaining closets and drawers; but so far everything always turbs out empty.

"What the hell is this...?" I asked as I rab my hand into my hair

I was sitting on the floor, propped up on the wall. My mind was confused.

'What the hell was going on? Did Kaa-san throw Dame-Tsuna out? No... wait Tou-san was here yesterday wasn't he? Did he...?'

My mind was going overdrive, filled with various questions popping up every two seconds.

Just when I was about to celebrate, I heard the sounds of the front door clicking and a faint voice saying.

"I'm Home."

I sprinted downstairs quietly.

"Kaa-san?... Where's nii-san...?"

The sound of dropping items and shattering glass echoed through the room.

The smell of eggs was disgusting to say the least.

And I started wondering.

Has it always been like this...?
