Kuno's POV

2 years came and went. Cielo turned 14 just last month, a lot of stuff already happened and everyone is closer than ever.

I stopped dyeing my hair red, leaving it blonde as it is. I also decided to keep it longer, as it makes my hair less fluffier and poofy.

I remembered the first time I introduced Cielo to the rest of the famiglia.

Almost got killed that day, still feel so hurt that no one trusted me though.

Enough to the point that they immediately thought that Cielo was the child of a woman I somehow had a one night with.

I may look like a player but I don't do one nights, nor do I play with anyone's heart!

Ehm..

Anyways.

Cielo's depression faded away along the way, he still has some attacks here and there, but that in itself is very rare.

Somehow, Cielo, while practicing to control his flames, managed to aquire a permanent change.

Hi iris turned orange, with hints of gold. We don't know how that happened but Amous, theorized that due to Cielo's insanely pure flames, his eye color changed to match the dominate one he has.

Which was unsurprisingly his Sky Flames.

His other Flames appeared only once or twice, and that was only due to him being really panicked or in a life and death situation.

I glanced outside and saw Cielo training with the three other kids.

A proud grin appeared on my face as I recalled the day we aquired three new family in our famiglia.

Furrowing my eyebrows, I huffed in distaste at their past. Finding their backgrounds worrying, I ruffled my hair and released a worried sigh.

Oh well, no use in worrying about their past. The good thing is that their safe now.

I kicked my feet away from the wall, causing my chair to swivel to the front, just in time to see the mahogany door to open.

"Kuno?" Sukaru asked as he opened the door with his feet. I grinned at him as I waited for him to approach my table.

He was carrying a huge pile of paperworks, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Sorry boss..." He grinned at me lopsidedly as he muttered out an apology.

He placed the papers on top of my desk rubbing his cheeks in shame afterwards.

"It's fine, it's my responsibility anyways." I waved my hands in a shooing manner before taking a paper out of the stack to examine.

I heard rustling before I saw Sukaru taking out an envelope from his suit pocket.

"Oh and SHE gave me this."

My eyes widened at the symbol located at the end of the paper, I held my breath before snatching it from his hands without another sound.

"So I assume you know what this means?" Sukaru asked, as he crossed his arms.
