-- Flashback to Rogue and Sting's childhood --
" Rogue-kun! Wait for me! " Yelling impatiently to him, Sting raced after him, stumbling every few steps. Stabbing his foot against an edged rock, he tripped and fell forward. As he embraced for impact, he looked up to see he was caught in Rogue's arms.
Sting smiled. " Thanks, Rogue-kun! " He exclaimed with a gleaming reply, listening to Rogue sigh in relief. Rogue gave a soft smile, but it was extremely hard to make out under his black bangs. After he had helped Sting to his feet, he turned around and began to walk it off like nothing happened.
Once again, Sting chased after him, waving his hands around impatiently. He jumped onto him, wrapping his arms around his neck with the same cheery grin. " Come on, Rogue-kun! Lets run away together! " Rogue chuckled softly, planting his hands on Sting's and looking him in the eye with a small smile. " Alright, Sting-san. Lets go. "
As they walked, Sting looked to him then over to the opposite site. He looked back then quickly stared at the ground as Rogue caught a glimpse of him. " Rogue-kun? Can I ask you something? " He stuttered, making Rogue stop moving. He stood there, waiting for Sting to finish his sentence.
" Rogue-kun? Will you stay with me forever? " He whispered softly. Rogue's eyes widened in surprise, before shutting his eyes with a chuckle. " Sting-san. " Sting turned around to find Rogue staring into his eyes, giving him the before-hand gesture that he was serious about what he was about to say. " I will remain by your side, forever. No matter what happens. I promise."

Forever? Rogue, why did you lie to me? And if you didn't, then why aren't you by my side..?
Sting's thoughts clouded his mind, sitting on a park bench as he fumbled with his hands. On the left, Lector sat by his side staring up at him. But on the right, there was no one. No Frosch. No Rogue.
.. Gone.
