Chapter 7

When we arrived I whispered her name and she got up and thanked us for taking her home.

Then Beau speeded up straight to our house.

-          She’s so cute – Beau said, looking at me.

-          Yeah – I replied confused.

Luke and Beau started laughing.

-          What? – I told them.

-          I think someone has a crush on Summer – teased me Luke.

-          I absolutely don’t! – I said.

-          Come one, Jai, we’re your brothers, you can tell us everything – Luke told looking at me.

Yeah, they’re my brothers and that’s the reason why I will never tell them who I like. They’re so annoying.

They continued laughing and I rolled my eyes.

How can I like Summer? They’re crazy. We’re just becoming good friends.

We entered home and Gina had already prepared our suits to wear to the prom. We really like to wear suits, Beau above all of us, because girls love guys on suits.

I left my bag and iPhone on the sofa and went upstairs to have a shower.

I don’t know why I couldn’t stop thinking about Summer and her long brown hair. She was actually so pretty and shy. And being shy looked so cute on her.

What the fuck Jai? I’m becoming a cheesy faggot, ugh. I got out of the bathroom with a towel on and went to my bedroom.

There I dressed up with the suit and I entered again on the bathroom. I dried my hair and put it correctly to look handsome and I put on my piercings. I looked stunning or I thought so.

I went to the living and Beau and Luke were ready too. They looked so cool too on their suits.

My iPhone rang and I took it to check out my messages. I had a new one from Summer. She said “Thank you, I’ll be ready by 6”.

Thank you what? I didn’t talk to her on my phone since last week. I clicked on WhatsApp and read all the conversation.

Fuck Luke and Beau talked to her. Fuck. Fuck.

I quickly read all.

Jai: “Hey Summer”

Summer: “Hi”

Jai: “So are you coming to the prom, right?”

Summer: “I don’t think so, I was going with Eve but since we argued…”

Jai: “No prob, we’ll pick you at 6 and you’re going to chill with us there”

Summer: “I don’t really feel like going… and I’ll annoy you so I’m not going”

Jai: “No, we’re picking you and you’re coming”

Summer: “Thank you, I’ll be ready at 6”

-          YOU ARE THE BIGGEST DICKHEADS LIVING ON EARTH – I screamed.

I could hear Beau and Luke laughing upstairs so I walked to the second floor and opened Beau’s room door.

They were laughing their asses out.

-          Are you mad? – I said annoyed and hit them on their stomachs.

-          Come on Jai you like her so what’s wrong? She hasn’t rejected you – Beau replied.

-          Why the hell should I like her? –I screamed.

-          Are you being serious? We are your brothers and we know you. You have a big crush on her, bro – told Luke this time.

I scratched my eyes in order to relax.

Do I really like her? Maybe… I have been thinking a lot about her lately.

I looked away and my brothers approached to me.

-          Summer, I love you – said Luke kneeling on the floor and taking me hand as if he was asking me to marry.

They both started to tease me with things about that and I got completely red.

-          You’re cunts – I said.

-          OH MY GODHE HAS JUST ADMITTED HE LIKES HER – Beau screamed.

-          I have never said that!

-          Yeah but you haven’t said you don’t like her so that means you like her.

Luke and Beau started to dance and jump around me singing romantic songs. I felt really awkward.

Do I like her?

-          Ok – I admitted -, maybe a little. So do I look good?

They both looked down at me as if they were famous clothes designers and nodded.

-          You look so handsome that I’ll probably rape you  - said Beau.

It was nearly time of going to pick her at home and I was so nervous. I couldn’t stop fixing my hair and piercings and I was sweating.

-          Come on bro you have done this many other times, girls are not a new thing for you – told me Luke.

Yes that’s true but, I don’t even know, I was so nervous.

-          Luke and lover we have to leave, let’s go! – said Beau entering on the living.

I punched him on his shoulder for calling me “lover” and we went outside to the car.

We drove to Summer’s house and stopped there. We were waiting there for some minutes and I decided to text her to go out.

But she didn’t reply to the message neither read it and we were going to be late for the prom.

-          Should I knock on her door? – I asked. Both Beau and Luke nodded with their head so I went out the car and approached to the door.

I knocked, crossing my fingers because I didn’t want to greet her parents.
