I'll try to make these chapters longer.
Three days later
Jasmine's POV
I woke up to my alarm. I quickly shut it off and sat up. Today was my first day of school. The smell of chocolate chip pancakes filled the air. I showered, got dressed and ran down the stairs. I bounded into the kitchen. "Good morning." I said cheerfully. Cupquake gave me a hug. "Sit down at the table. Red will give you a plate when he's done." She said. I sat at the table and soon red set a plate of pancakes in front of me. "Thank you." I said. "Well eat up. Lizzie's going to be here soon to drop off Elsie and I'm driving you girls to school." Red said. I quickly ate breakfast and brushed my teeth. Soon, Lizzie dropped Elsie off. I grabbed my backpack. "Ready?" Cupquake asked. "Sure am." I said. I got into the car with Elsie. Red got in and drove us to school.
When we got to school, I opened the door. "Bye red!" I yelled. "Bye." He said. Elsie and I got out. I looked around. "Where am I supposed to go?" I asked. Two other girls ran over to us. "Hey Elsie!" They said. One of them noticed me. "Who is she?" She asked. "Oh. This is Jasmine. She's new here." Elsie said. "Hi." They said. One girl kept staring at me. "Anna. Your sister is staring." Elsie said. "Lizzie. Stop it." Anna said. Lizzie looked down. "Sorry Jasmine." She said, quietly. "It's okay." I said. "Can you help her find her classes?" Elsie asked. "Sure." Anna said. "Thanks." I said. Anna, Elsie, Lizzie and I went inside. After I got to my class, I hesitated at the door. Elsie grabbed me. "It'll be fine." She said. We walked in. The teacher noticed me. She walked over to me. "I'm miss Miller. I'll be your teacher." She said. "I'm Jasmine." I said. "Take a seat anywhere you want." She said. I found an empty seat next to Elsie.
After class was over to go to lunch, Elsie led my to the lunch room. I grabbed my lunch bag. "Can I sit with you?" I asked her. "Sure." Elsie said. We headed over to a table where Anna and Lizzie were sitting. I set my lunch down at their table. "Where did you move here from? Lizzie asked. "I lived in California the whole time." I said. "Did your parents home school you?" Anna asked. I dropped my gaze. I felt a few tears fall. Elsie noticed. "She lived in a girls home." She explained. "I had no idea." Anna said. I wiped my eyes. "It's fine." I said. "How'd they die?" Lizzie asked. "Lizzie!" Anna hissed at her sister. "Can we change the subject?" Elsie asked. "You're upsetting Jasmine."
Anna looked up at me. "Sorry. I was just curious. Lizzie was the one who asked the last question." Anna said. Just then the bell rang. As we we're leaving I was able to form one little thought.

Today was a good day.
