"Things could change so entirely, in a heartbeat; the world could be made entirely anew, because someone was kind."

"O-M-G!" The girls said as I exited the dressing room. I got a series of "you look great," "that's so flattering," and "it's a piece of art" while I looked around at them trying to hide my disgust.
I was currently in my eighth outfit, this one being a pink short sleeved dress that barely covers my butt, and they had me wear grey thigh boots that made me look like a hooker.
"I'm not getting this," I said before going back into the changing room.
"It sounds like a train wreck out there," Jane said to me as I entered. "Too much for you?"
"Yes, way too much."
"It'll be worth it. We can use this to our advantage when we want to to something that they don't."
"True, but we need to go somewhere that doesn't have so much... pink. I feel like a Barbie," I said.
"Says the brunette," Jane said.
"Just shut up and help me out of this death trap," I told her.

The next three hours went by just like that. One outfit after another, one store to the next, it never ended, well for a while, that is. I ended up buying $1,500 worth of clothes, shoes and accessories. (Thank God for that "graduation money") Jane only ended up buying $600 worth. My bags ranged from Forever21 to Victoria's Secret to Nike. The worst part was the beauty shops. I was bombarded with products and employees. I ended up getting face masks, body scrubs, herbal shower bombs, toners, cleansers, lipsticks, mascara, and so much makeup I didn't know half of it.
On the contrary, Jane loved stores like Forever21 and Lush, she couldn't get enough of her "Instagram worthy" products that were sold at the stores. Nevertheless, I used this horrible experience to my advantage. I got clothes mostly in my style range and ended up getting some Adidas apparel, so I benefited a bit from this horrible trip.
"Can we get lunch? I'm starving," I said to the girls. I got the approval of all the girls by a series of yeahs and okays and a finally by Jane.
"How about sushi?" Rachael suggests. We all nod in agreement and finally go to lunch around 3pm.
On the way home the girls stopped by this little shop with a lot of herbs surrounding it, it gave me bad vibes but they claimed that they came here all the time. They came out with a batch of cookies and cupcakes. Jane and I switched a glance, shrugged our shoulders in confusion, and looked up at the girls as they climbed into the car.
"Today's a treat day, girls," Ashley said as she got into the drivers seat with a box in her hands. Meghan had two boxes in her hands and Caitlyn had one box. Each of the boxes had a label that said either da-cookies or da-brownies.
"What do you mean by 'treat day'?" I asked.
"You'll see. These cookies and brownies from daylight are absolutely amazing," Caitlyn said.
"Daylight?" Jane asked.
"That's the store we just left, duh," Caitlyn said.
