Chapter 13

Jack's POV

"I'm so sorry Jack..." North said.

"Give him time North." Tooth said.

"No it's alright," I stammered out. "I couldn't protect her."

"You can't save everyone Jack." Bunny said.

"Jack.....look" North pointed.

The moon's light shown bright on Rapunzel. It was almost blinding. Her body was lifted up in midair. Flowers of light surrounding her white ones gold ones. Until finally she was placed down softly.

"She is the guardian of Spring." The moon said and that was all.

I went to her, she's alive the moon brought her back, does she have her memories? Will she not know who I am? Please let her have her memories.

Don't let her go through what I had to.

"Rapunzel? Wake up Rapunzel it's me Jack."

Her eyes fluttered open. Her eyes were still green but her pupil was in the shape of a flower.

"Jack?" She said.

"Yes Punz it's me...you remember?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course I do."

Joy rushed through me I hugged her tightly. Not wanting to let go.

But she did and kissed me. It shocked me at first but what should I expect it's Rapunzel she's full of surprises. I was almost seeing stars. I kissed her back smiling into the kiss.

The guys were cheering and I stopped the kiss realizing their were others in the room.

"Well looks like we have a new guardian!" North boomed.

"I'm glad to join!" Rapunzel said "but there's something I have to do first."

"What is that?" I asked.

"I want to go see my birth parents they deserve to know what happened to me." She said.

"Rapunzel, I'm sorry but I don't think they'll be able to see you."

"They believe I'm out there.... So they believe in me." She said

"Well just in case Tooth will give you a dose of the power of memories."

"Wear this necklace around your neck and people will be able to see you but it will only work for a little while the magic will wear off." Tooth said. "Your going to be asleep for a bit, even magic has side effects which why Jack is going to take you."

"Thank you, all of you."

"You ready to go?" I asked.

"Yep." She put the necklace around her neck. "So when is this thing going to-"

She was out like a light. I caught her before she fell to the ground.

"Well I think we better get going." I said "thanks guys "

"You're welcome Jack come back soon." North said

I carried her off and into the sky. Well we're somewhere in Germany it looks like. Well we better get to corona soon.

I began flying through my snow storm. Until I saw this creature in the distance. At first I thought it was a nightmare but that's impossible,

Then I saw you guys. Flying on a dragon.
