Gothel's POV
"Hello dear!" I call out to Rapunzel.
"Hi mother." She says sadly.
"Still upset dear? I know it's hard but look Ive made your favorite hazelnut soup! Surprise!" I say.
"Thank you mother." She sits
Her blonde hair draped behind her. Her face puffy from crying,she looks paler and I can see pure defeat in her eyes. This is too easy.
"How's the soup?" I ask
"It's good.....but different. Did you put something new?"
"Oh just a few bay leaves...."
Rapunzel faints to the ground.
"Oh yes and an old charming spell that will drain your light and give it to me.....special ingredient." I laugh.
Jack's POV
I heard a thump downstairs... I better check that she's okay.
I go downstairs and see Gothel dragging the unconscious Rapunzel down to a secret door.
"What happened?" I said
Surprisingly she looked up at me and put Rapunzel down.
"Please you must help me she fainted I think she took something!" She begged
"Wait you can see-"
"Of course who do you think told her stories about you now please help me get her down in the cellar I have erbs down there that may help."
I helped Gothel pick her up and went down to the cellar.
Gothel looked anxiously for certain erbs. Turning each bottle or jar but to no avail. "Oh none of this will do any good!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes.....well there is.....no I couldn't ask you that....I barely know you."
"What?" I ask.
"Well my mother told me that I was saved when a guardian gave up his power source for me to live.....I was a sickly child, but you barely know Rapunzel... I couldn't."
"I'll do it, if it makes her live then I'll do it." I stated. "How's it done?"
"You must give me your staff and I'll sing the special song backwards and the magic of your staff will make the healing power go through her."
I handed her my staff.
She gripped it and began wrapping Rapunzel's hair around my staff and she sang the song backwards.
Rapunzel's hair instead of glowing.....was turning brown! Her skin was getting paler. The magic was going right into my staff.
"Stop wait its not working she's getting worse!"
"That's the point Jack." Gothel smiled wickedly.
"No!!!" I shouted and I gripped my glowing staff.
"Let go!" Gothel yelled.
"No! Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine..."
"No what are you doing!" She yelled as the light started going back into Rapunzel's hair.
"Make the clock reverse bring back what once was mine...."
Boom!!!
The light burst with such force it threw both me and Gothel back.
I looked to see Rapunzel was safe her hair back to normal. She began waking up.
"Where am I? Mother.....?"
"Rapunzel she tried to kill you!" I yelled.
She couldn't hear me, she still didn't believe.
"Well now that's enough fun and games." Pitch said holding my staff. He blasted me with my own staff causing me to be stuck flat against the wall by a black force.
"You're that guy who tried to hurt me and........"
"Jack? Jack Frost? Yes it's a shame you can't even see him can you?"
"You did it, jack didn't leave me did he? You did something to him!" Rapunzel said.
"Well look who has figured everything out! He's here look closely child."
"Jack!" She gasped.
"Rapunzel, nice to see you again." I said struggling with the nightmare.
"Im so sorry, I stopped believing in you I'm-"
"Alright enough of the sob story let's get this over with." Gothel said.
"Mother? You knew about this!"
"Oh sweetie I'm not your mother, I mean really we don't look a thing alike, too bad the lost princess won't ever be found." She said.
