I rolled over to the sound of my alarm clock going off.  I let out and exasperated sigh thinking it couldn't be 6 o'clock yet, I honestly felt like I had just laid down oh well it was nothing I could do about it the day was young but I had so much that needed to get done.

Once I begin thinking about the exciting things my day had in store for me I hurriedly made my way into the shower and then to my closet to find something to wear. Usually this is a process I do the night before; because I,like any other female, took forever to decide on what I would be stepping out in, it made no difference that I was a stud and chose to wear masculine clothing I was still a female so I took pride in my appearance and how I presented myself.

This among many other reasons was why females seemed to flock to me didn't matter whether they were gay, straight, bisexual or just confused I could have em all.

After choosing my outfit I grabbed my keys and headed for the kitchen.  I could smell the aroma of eggs, pancakes, and sausage just waiting for me.  I placed my backpack on the chair then walked up to my mother and kissed her on the cheek "well good morning."she said.

Good morning ma how did you sleep?  I replied.  "Very well, but we need to talk..."  She replied.  Whenever my mom hit me with the "we need to talk", it was almost never good so you could only imagine the thoughts swarming around in my head.

However I refuse to let her see that it rattled me or worried me at the most so I replied cooly by saying okay ma I'm all ears. My mom took a seat next to me and looked me in the eyes before saying "you know I am so proud of you"...

"I said mamma I know", she cut me off by saying "let me finish I'm proud of you but I'm not proud of the infatuation you seem to have with these streets.  I don't want to have to come home and receive messages that you are in the hospital or even worse dead"; now it was my turn to cut her off, "mamma I'm not getting into anything in these streets and ain't nothing gonna happen to me.

I'm only focusing on ball and school the rest of that is behind me". She let out a sigh of relief I could see she believed me for once about this subject.  After this she hugged me and told me to lock up when I left for school but not before turning to kiss me on the cheek before she walked out.

In order to understand why my mother had this talk with me I gotta dive deeper into my story .I was never a bad kid necessarily, well not if you asked me I just had the tendency of getting into trouble over a beautiful female way to often.

My phone went off interrupting my train of thought I looked at the caller id to see it was my bff Shay, "bro where you at its after 7:30?" I'm walking out now give me 10 I'll be pulling up. Shay replied by saying okay and after that I hung up the phone. A lot had changed as of recently for me I was still undecided on whether it was good or bad but for now I had no choice but to roll with it.
