Alexis
Aye chick bring your ass!! I peeked out the door to see where all the screaming and noise was coming from I shouldn't have been surprised when I spotted my best friend Rachel waving for me to come on before we were late for school.

I ran out the door at the fastest pace I could without tripping over anything I for one couldn't understand why she was in such a rush to get back to school ;nothing had changed it would be the same faces, the same boring ass teachers, same thirsty ass niggas and females and the same bullshit.

Despite my attitude I didn't want to kill my best friend's mood so I cheered up... after all it wasn't her fault that I had a horrible end to the school year last year and an even more horrible summer.

I hopped into Rachel's white Honda Civic and buckled the seat belt, she greeted me in her normal way "what's up chick as slow as your moving I would think you're not excited about starting your senior year.

I looked at my friend out the corner of my eye and replied with as much sarcasm as I could muster by saying "yes I'm ecstatic to start my senior year I'm literally beaming with so much pride and joy."

Rachel caught on to the hint and said "best friend tell me your still not stuck on that no good ass Daysha... we have been through this before she was no good for you to begin with just let it go and let her go focus on the new year.

" I understood where my best friend was coming from but what she didn't understand was that what she was saying was a hell of a lot easier said than done how do you just cut off your first love the person you expected to live your life with the person who was your first in everything.

It's actually crazy when I look back on things because I never saw myself with Daysha we went to the same middle school and high school for as long as I could remember but I barely even paid attention to her so you could imagine how shocked I was when I discovered that she was crushing on me.

See you had to know me in order to understand that Daysha was not my type at all I was a feminine female who loved other feminine females so by Daysha being a stud it never really attracted me, that didn't stop Daysha from pursuing me though.

One day after track practice as I was waiting for my brother to pick me up Daysha spotted me and came over to talk to me, she left nothing to the imagination because she got straight to the point. "I know our school is pretty big but a lot of people know you and they know me and I'm sure word has gotten back to you that I like you.

" I broke my silence by replying in a rather cold manner saying "and if it has?" Daysha then looked me up and down before saying "so stop playing with my emotions and give me a date girl you act like I'm asking for marriage. I just want to work out a little casual dating situation".. by this time my brother was pulling into the school parking lot and I had never been happier to see him than now, but Daysha wasn't taking no for an answer. She cut me off by walking in front of me and I stopped she then handed me a piece of paper with her number on it and then she said "look I'm not your type I get it but I just want a chance to get to know you even if nothing comes out of it but a friendship.

" To keep her from talking my ass to death I took her number and said I would call... she then accepted that, as far as I was concerned that was the best answer she was gonna get, so she left. After that day I never really planned on calling Daysha but she had other plans one day as I was sitting with my girls at the park Daysha and her friends rolled up, she spotted me and immediately started on her way over she said "well well how you been Alexis?" I wouldn't know since you took my number and decided not to use it", I said "I been good Daysha thanks for asking".

Daysha then sat down and said "so what's the deal you scared that if you go out with me you gonna like me?" I laughed at her and told her "don't flatter yourself" she looked at me with a rather devilish grin and said "well prove it this weekend let me take you out if you like me then you have to agree to let me call you if not then I won't bother you again.
