I couldn't believe my eyes man. Standing in front of me was my infamous ex girlfriend Nikki.

I felt as if the breath had left my body completely and I was struggling to stand. In spite of having the shock of my life I managed to utter her name. "Nikki it's really you" She seemed just as surprised as me but then she said "Hi Shay long time"...I immediately pulled her to the side and asked if we could talk she reluctantly agreed but she agreed nonetheless.

"Nikki I been trying to get up with you for some time now where have you been? Is everything good?" She looked down and then back up at me and said "I been going through a lot Shay but I'm in a better place now."

I told her I was glad to hear that and glad to see that she was okay. I don't know if she could tell but seeing her face after all this time brought back so many different emotions.

"Nikki I gotta be honest with you I miss you I miss us do you think there is still a chance that we can give us a try one more time?" Nikki looked at me and then turned away and said "Shay I don't know how to say this other than to just tell you the truth I don't' think we will ever be the same again."

"Nikki you won't know if you don't give it a try cmon what do you say??" "Shay I just can't...my heart is somewhere else I'm sorry."

She kissed me on the cheek and then walked away, seeing her turn her back on me felt like my heart being ripped out my chest. Nikki may have thought that I was gonna let her go easily, but that was not the case I was determined to get the love of my life back by any means!
