I waited outside for Key to pick me up from the gym. She pulled up shortly and I hopped in, when I got in she gave me a kiss and told me she missed me...she didn't even have to ask she knew that I missed her too.

As we were riding along I told her that I had something to tell her she looked at me with a worried look and said "you're okay aren't you baby?" I smiled and said "yes baby it's good news not bad news." She said "okay then well go ahead lay it on me"...I laughed and said "oh

I plan on laying something on you later tonight." She smiled as hard as she could and said "baby don't tell me that I'll be done wrecked this damn car."

I winked at her and then smiled as we traveled down the road. My phone rang and I answered after a bit...hello yes this is she wow that's great news...yes I can meet you at 5 my house is great thank you. I hung up the phone screaming with joy.

I must have scared the shit out of Key cause she looked at me and asked if I was alright I leaned over and kissed her like she wasn't driving. "Yes baby everything is great that was coach. UT is reinstating my track scholarship.

Key looked at me with the biggest smile on her face and said "baby that's great I told you it was gonna work out" I couldn't help but smile. I had the opportunity to chase my dream again, I was going to the school of my dreams and I had the girl of my dreams to go along with it I felt as if nothing could bring me down.

Key dropped me off at home about 10 minutes later I gave my baby a kiss and told her I would see her after basketball practice.

The air hit me right in my face as soon as I walked through the door thank God the air is on cause its scorching outside. I threw my backpack on the couch, as I ran upstairs to tell my parents the good news.

My dad was sitting on the bed watching tv and my mom was sleeping when I walked in. "Hey ma hey dad guess what?" "What is it baby girl"? UT is reinstating my track scholarship. After hearing this my mom was wide awake. "That's great baby I'm so proud of you" my parents hugged me and I went back downstairs to tell my brothers.

Just as I walking down stairs my phone rang, I pulled it out to check the caller id and realized it was an unavailable number.

Normally I wouldn't answer the phone for a number I didn't know but then it occurred to me that it may be coach or another member of the staff at UT so I decided to pick up. "Hello" yeah Alexis its Shay are you busy at the moment? "Hey Shay and not really is something wrong? "No we good

I'm just calling to let you know that Key wants you to meet her at the park at 7 I think she has a surprise for you. "Okay I can do that" after telling Shay bye I hung up the phone and let a smile cross my face. I sat on the couch and smiled as I thought to myself that I had the best girlfriend I could ask for she was always trying to show me that I was appreciated and for that I loved her to death.

I took a nap until about 6:30 then I woke up and headed to the park. I wanted to get there early so I could go for a run...after I had been running 20 minutes I noticed a car pulling up in the distance it wasn't Key because I knew her car very well even in the dark.

I told myself it was just someone visiting the park and I resumed my lap around the track. As I was running around the curb of the track I thought I saw someone out the corner of my eye so I stopped.

I looked around but couldn't see anyone, so once again I ignored it. By this time I was starting to feel uneasy so I picked up my phone and gave Key a call.

She answered on the second ring "hey babe are you on the way to the par" suddenly someone grabbed me around my waist and then everything went black...I kicked and screamed fighting to get away but it was to no avail, after a few minutes of struggling a bag was placed over my head and I felt myself being tied up all I could think to myself was this was the end there would be no more Key, no UT track or no happy ending and all I could do was cry.
