Journey Begins #7

   Nori's pov.

I had already said goodbye to all of my friends and now there was only one left. I stopped in front of a old door. I knocked on it and after a while it open.

"Nori? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at work?" Miroshi said and I took a golden ribon from my pocket. I had a paper with me and I handed it to Miroshi.

"This ribon belongs to the head doctor of the hospital. Hami Miroshi with the power given to me I name you the next head doctor." I said and gave the ribon to him. He stared at me and then open his mouth.

"What's going on Nori?" He asked a little panicked.

"I will be leaving this village tommorrow, so I came to name you the head doctor." I said and he stared at me.

"What!? Nori you can't! What about us!?" He asked and I remebered all the times he told me he loved me, that he would do anything for me.

"I'm sorry Miroshi, but you are like a brother to me. I could never be with you." I said and looked down. I just made the whole 'goodbye saying' harder than ever. I felt Miroshis hand on my cheek. I looked at him and he looked at me. I didn't react fast enough. And all I felt was his lips on mine and then they were gone. I took a step back and look at his blushing face. I was about to ask him why, but he was faster to speak.

"I only did that for myself, I wanted to feel your lips. Even if it was the first and the last time. I know that you can't return my feelings, but I will get over them and find somebody. Just like you will find somebody, but for now let's call this a goodbye." He said and I took a step forward. I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"Goodbye Miroshi and thank you for understanding." I said and pulled away from him.

"Goodbye Nori and never forget me." He said and smiled.

"I won't!" I said and smiled. I was about to leave.

"Remember to come and visit after your adventure." He said and I turned to look at him. I gave him a big smile.

"I will!" I said and ran towards Kemuri. I jump on his back ane ride towards my house. 'Tomorrow will be one of the best days of my life!'

   [Timeskip to morning]

When I woke up to hear the birds as always. I laid on my bed for a while and walk to the bathroom. I look at myself from the mirror. My hair has grown longer so I tie it on a ponytail. I took a knife and hold my hair in place. I cut the ends of my hair on made a tight bun. I walk to my room and pick out an outfit. I pulled on a white shirt with long sleves. It was a bit lose and it had buttons from the top to bottom. I took my brown lose pants and pull them on. I took a green sleveles jacket an put it on. It had a hood and few pockets. I took a lether belt that had a place for two knifes and a small pouch. I had a bag for my stuff and a holder on my back for my staff. I pulled on my shoes that reaced on my knees and ran downstairs. I sa my dad sitting in the living room. I walked to him and hugged him.

"Are you ready to get going?" He asked.

"The bigger question is are you ready to let me go?" I asked and we laughed a little. He looked at me and smiled.

"You look like your mother." He said and make me smile with his own smile. I walk to the kitchen and pack food in my bag. I walk out of the house into the barn. I saw Kemuri waiting for me in his stall. I pet him and pack his stuff on a bag that he would carry on his back. After that I put on his saddle and  bridles. I jump oh his back and ride outside. I collected fruits from the threes and then went inside for the last time. I ran to our livingroom and take a compass and a map. I was about to leave, but remembers my dad. I walk to his room and slowly open the door.

"Dad?" I asked and he looked at me.

"Nori?" He asked and I walk to him. We sat on his bed and I look at him.

"I'll be leaving soon. Are you gonna be okay?" I asked and he smiled.

"Ofcourse. Just promice me you'll be okay." He said and I smiled.

"I will." I said and he hugged me.

"I love you Nori." He said and I hugged him tighter.

"I love you too dad." I said and after a while we both let go of each other. I walk downstairs with him and outside. I jump on Kemuris back and turn to look at my dad.

"Goodbye dad for now!" I shout and wave my hand

"Goodbye Nori have a safe trip!" He shouts and waves his hand. Kemuri starts walking towards a rode that leads into the forest. My feeling were all mixed up. I felt so happy, but sad. Excided, but scared. I was still going to keep going. The birds were singing and it was so peaceful. After a while I could no longer see my house.

"This is it." I said and looked at the huge feild infront of me.

"Ready Kemuri?" I asked and he looked at me.

"Let's go!" I say and he started to run. The field was shining when the sun hit the grass. The flowers flashed by as Kemuri ran through the field. The wind felt amazing and the sound of the sea felt like magic in the distance. After a while we arriwed to see the sea. I let Kemuri walk on the beach and got down from his back. I needed to let him rest too. We walked to see a small town ahead. I walk towards it and finally arriwed to see a busy street full of people and markets. There was food, jewels, music, dancing and everything else you could think of. After a while of walking I saw an interesting looking shop. I walked to it and couldn't help myself. There were books about medicine and deseases. Herbs, potions and even small living animals that prodused poison or antitoxins. I looked at the lady selling them.

"So are you interested in anything child?" She asked with a kind voice.

"There are so many things I would love to have, but I don't have money to buy everything." I said and she smiled.

"How much do you have then." She asked and I show her what I have. She looks around and the at me.

"I can sell you two books, seven bottles of herbs, two bottles of any potion, ten medical tools, one of my animals and give you this back to hold all of that." She said while holding a black bag. I smiled and started to look what she had.

"I'll take those two books, these herbs, two of those potions, I would also like to have these." I said while gathering three small powls, a bigger one, a rounded stone, two cups, two stone spoons and a small emply potion bottle.

"I don't need an animal, but if you could I would love to have know if you have a book about animal deseses?" I asked and she took a book from a bag.

"Sound like a great deal." She said and backed the stuff in the bag and gave it to me. I gave her the money and waved her goodbye. Aftet walking for ten minutes I saw a man selling maps. I walked to him and smiled.

"Excuse me mister?" I asked and he smiled.

"Yes miss?" He asked.

"Do you know how far away the capital of Kou is?" I asked and he took out an map.

"It seemes that about 2 to 4 days by a horse or a carrage." He said and I thanked him.

"I'll see you soon Kouha." I said to myself, walked to Kemuri and continued my jorney to Kou.
