The Palace #8

  Kouha's pov.

I was sitting on my bed looking at the seeling. 'How long has it been? 4 days? 6 days? A week? A month?' I didn't know how the flow of time worked anymore. When the sun was up I was my usual self, but at nights I would be a different person. All I wanted was to see Noris face again, hear her voice, something like that. 'How am I supposed to live my life normally, when all I can think of is her?' I got up from my bed, got dressed and walked towards the garden.

     Nori's pov.

I saw Kous capital from a hill I was on top of. For some reason my heart started to beat faster and I was nervous. 'I need to do this. Okay Nori you can do it.'

"Let's go Kemuri." I said and he walked towards the city. After a while I was at the entrense to the city. I jump off from Kemuris back and walk with him. The first thing that I see is a huge street. People everywhere and so many new things. Food, drinks, markets and so many other things. I walk towards a bazar. I was so busy looking around that I didn't notice a person infront of me. I bumbed into him and when I was about to fall a pair of hands stopped me from falling. I looked at the man holding me up. He had pink/red hair, beautiful pink eyes and he was tall. His soft skin felt warm and on his face was a gentle smile. I got up and looked at him.

"Thank you for helping me." I said and bowed.

"No need for that. It was my pleasure to help." He said and I smiled. I saw the letter Kouha gave me beside his leg.

"Excuse me, but could you give me that letter?" I asked and pointed at the letter.

"Ofcourse." He said and reached for it. He held it in his hands and stared at it. I was a little confused about the reaction he had on his face. He was supriced and confused.

"Could I have the letter?" I asked and he looked at me.

"Who gave you this letter?" He asked and I snatched the letter away from him.

"That is not your business. Now is it?" I asked and he looked at me supriced.

"It's from the palace of Kou and as the secound prince of Kou, it is my business." He said and I realised that the man infront of me was Ren Koumei.

"Please forgive me Prince Koumei. I didn't reconise you." I said and bowed.

"It's okay, but please tell me who gave you that letter?" He said and I looked at him.

"Prince Kouha gave it to me." I said and he looked at me.

"Can I see what the letter is about?" He asked and I looked at the letter.

"May I read it first? You see I haven't open it yet." I asked and he nod. I open the letter and read it.

   Nori Arashi

You have been given the place of a doctor student at the palace of Kou.

With this you can enter the palace

From: Kouha

I gave the letter to Koumei and after few secounds he gave it back to me.

"Are you here to study to become a doctor?" He asked and I put the letter back in my bag.

"Well to tell you the truth. I am a doctor, but I would like to know more about medicine and illnesses." I said and Koumei smiled at me.

"Well then you should come to the palace with me." He said and I was filled with joy. I giggled and took a hold of Koumeis hand.

"Thank you prince Koumei!" I said and realised what I did. I let go of him and bow.

"Please forgive me?" I said and he placed a hand on my head and I looked at him.

"It's okay and please call me something else than prince Koumei." He said and I smiled.

"Okay! I'll call you Koumei-chan." I said and he gave me a smile.

"Shall we get going?" He asked and I nod. We started to walk towards the palace. After about 30 minutes we were at the gates to the palace. Koumei-chan said something to the men at the gate and game back to me.

"Come with me miss Arashi." He said

"What about Kemuri?" I asked and he looked at Kemuri.

"One of the servants will take him to a nice stall. He said and a boy came to me. He looked like he was about 12 years old. His blond hair and brown eyes gave him an mysterious look.

"Don't worry miss. I will take good care of him. Here take this." He said and gave me a leather patch.

"You can come to the stalls anytime if you have that with you." He said and I smiled.

"Thank you. Be good Kemuri. I will come to see you as soon as possible." I said and looked at Koumei. I then follow him. We walked towards a metal door.

"You don't need to call me miss Arashi." I said and he looked at me.

"Well, what should I call you then?" He asked and I looked at him.

"I don't know." I said and tried to think of something.

"Nori-chan." Koumei said.

"What?" I asked.

"I'll call you Nori-chan." He said with a smile. I smiled and nod. We walked to the door and it open. We walked in and I saw a huge building and a garden.

"This is the main entrense of the palace and the rose garden."
Koumei-chan said and I looked at the garden. It was full of roses. There were so many colors.

"Go on." Koumei said and I looked at him.

"Go and look around the garden. I'll wait for you." He said and I smiled

"Thank you." I said and walked to the garden. The smell was amazing and the colors were so brights. I stepped on something and looked down to see a red rose. I took a hold of it and looked at it. 'Somebody cut it.' I looked around if there was somebody, but no one was there. I started to walk towards a tree I saw. More roses were on the ground. I saw somebody next to the three with a knife. I looked at the person and the light hit the persons hair. It was pink and shined as bright as fire.

"Kouha?" I asked and the person turned around. His pink eyes met my orange ones. He stared at me with his eyes wide open.

"Nori?" He said and I smiled.

So I updated earlier than planed!
