Nori's pov.

I walked out of the stables, but not even a single guard was around. The air felt weird and my instincts told me to run. I pulled out my knife. I always had two knifes with me. A bigger one from my father: Kuri. And a smaller one: Kara was a gift one patient gave me. I also had a small bag of darts that had some poison in them. I usually held the darts between my middle finger and index finger before throwing them.

(The knifes and darts above. Those are drawn by me 😝 Because of my bad handwriteing I'm just gonna say that the darts are 6cm long)

I held Kuri more tightly and looked around. I closed my eyes, because they didn't help in the darkness. I listen to the sound of a person walking towards me. They got faster and I dodged a swing of a sword.

"Karui Tori!" I said and a bright light blinded the man trying to kill me for a while. I saw the man on the ground holding his eyes and panicing. It was the same man who tried to poison Kemuri. I press my knife agentst his neck, but before I can do anything a voice called me.

"Nori-chan! Please stop!" Koumei-chan shouted and I look around to see him and Kouha along with other royals. I look at them and then let go of the knife.

"What is this all about?!"
Koumei-chan asked and walked to me and the man.

"Nori-chan! Explain yourself!" He said and helped the man up.

"Were you trying to murder the head magician of Kou palace or it there a reason for this!?" He asked and I got scared for some reason. In this short time that I knew him I started to see him as a brother. All I could do was start to sob and my legs felt week. 'I used too much magoi.' My legs gave up, but a pair of warm hands wrapped around my body.

"Please Mei! Let her explain this! I'm sure she did nothing wrong!" Kouha said and I looked at him. His eyes looked at me and he smiled.

"Fine. I'll take Sir Folopeus to the library to question what happen, while you take Nori-chan back to her room and hear her side of the story." Koumei-chan said and Kouha nod. He turned around so that his back was faceing me.

"Come on, I'll carry you." He said and I got on his back. Without breaking a sweat he lifted himself and me up. He walked towards my room and I pressed my face agents his neck. I breath in and out.

"You smell so nice Kouha." I said and he stopped for a secound before he continued. I move some of his hair out of the way to that I saw his neck. I slowly place my lips on his soft skin and give him a kiss. His body tense up, but I didn't care. His hair was so soft and his back so warm. I felt my eyes close and soon I saw fast asleep.

Kouha's pov.

I saw Noris room ahead and looked back at Nori.

"Oh?" I said as I noticed she was sleeping. 'I can hear her story when she wakes up.' I open the door to her room and lay her on the bed. 'She looks so peaceful. Her hair is beautiful and her lips so soft.' I then realized that she kissed my neck and a wave of heat came to my face. It was stuck on my cheeks and my body helt warm. Looking at her made me so happy. I sat on the bed and looked at her. 'She must of used a lot of magoi so suddenly that it took all of her energy.' I took off my hat and place it on a table. I carefully took off Noris jacket and boots. I look off my shoes and lay on the bed next to her. I pull a planket over Nori and me. I looked at her and she moved closed to me. Her eyes were closed. She wrapped her hands around my neck and pushed herself closer to me. Her cheast was almost agenst mine. Her face so close to mine. She warpped her leg around me and I wrapped my hands around her hips and pulled her agent my body. 'Is this what I really wanted? Her to be close to me like this?'

"K-Kouha?" Noris voice said and I looked at her. She was still asleep. 'That's cute she sleeptalks.' I smiled, but that smile was stolen by Noris lips on mine. She kissed me and all I could do was kiss her back. 'Is she awake!?' The kiss felt so right and then all of a sudden it ended. I looked at Nori and saw her smileing.

"Nori?" I asked, but she just placed her head agents my cheast.

"You fell for my trick silly." She said happily and then she fell asleep. I was shocked and blushing. 'What the hell just happen!?' I looked at her and right there it was clear to me. I kissed Noris head.

"Nori." I said, but she said nothing.

"I'm slowly falling in love with you." I said and soon fell asleep.

[Library]

Koumei's pov.

"After I saw her makeing a deal with that stable boy I knew she is not one to be trusted. I knew what I had to do. I was trying to warn the guards, but it was too late. She had already killed them. I tried to escape before she noticed me, but she came at me with a knife. I took the closest sword and tried to strike her, but she used her magic to blind me. I was scared that I would die by her hand. Gladly you came just in time to save me." Sir Folopeus explaned and I was not sure what to believe.

"She is insane and not to mention one of them." He said and I was now confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I mean she had dirty blood running in her veins." He said and I stood up.

"This is enough information Sir Folopeus. Please leave now." I said and he left. I walked to the window and look at the moon that hid behind the clouds. 'Could Nori really have dirty blood in her veins?'
