I entered the hell hole as I heard people suddenly get quieter. Okay, if this is how they want to play, then we’ll play.

I headed straight to my locker, and saw Liam down the hall.

Our eyes met for a second before he looked away painfully. I looked down to my hand as it turned the lock on my locker. I opened it up and grabbed my books, shoving them into my bag. I slammed my locker and walked down the hallway, my boots making noises as they hit the cold floor. I finally got to class, and sat down at another empty table. Gemma, Liam, and the others  sat at the table, but they weren’t talking.

I didn’t see Brittany anywhere, I shrugged it off and focused on the teacher, as he teached.

***

The class was finally over, and everyone stood up fast, heading towards the door, Gemma and the boys passed me, but I grabbed Gemma’s arm.

“Hey!” She squealed.

“We need to talk,” I said. She looked down at her shoes.

“What.” She said silently.

“Why the hell are you avoiding me?” I asked. She kept looking at her shoes.

“Gemma,” I asked, she finally looked up at me. “Why?” I whispered.

“She threatened me Caden!” She whisper-yelled.

“How?! Enlighten me, really!” I whisper-yelled.

“She said that if I kept hanging with you, it would be bad, she would ruin me!” She replied.

“I doubt that, so is that why you left me, best friend!” I emplied, she looked down. My eyes were now watery.

“I guess.” She whispered. I huffed.

“I’m so tired of this shit! I’m Done!” I threw my hands in the air and walked out the door. I stomped down the hallway towards Brittany’s locker. She was there, laughing with her friends, they stopped as they noticed me.

“Brittany Michelle Adamme!” I yelled, everyone in the halls got so silent, you could hear birds chirping. She turned to me, and stared intently.

“What the hell-“ She started before I cut her off.

“Oh, don’t you ‘What The Hell’ me, What the hell to you! You threaten my friends when I back you up for getting these insults, I didn’t Intend for that shit, none of it! I don’t know why you do this, constantly treating people like dirt when they are just like you! You as in human beings! You torment people about who they are, when they’re just trying to fit in. Guess What? Everyone’s different! Brittany I stayed strong for 9 Years! I stayed strong for dad, I stayed strong for mom even though I didn’t see her for the better part of those 9 years. You constantly bitch about everything, treat me like pure shit, when I did nothing. I wasn’t the one who was the reason why my parents got divorced! We are from the same flesh, but totally different! It constantly bugs me! Why do you hate me? I never did anything wrong! I had stayed strong through you, through my own flaws, through dad coming home late drunk, through dad’s death. You know what Brittany? News Flash, Dad committed suicide last month! Did you ever wonder why you didn’t see him at the hospital? You know why he committed suicide Brittany? He was tired! He was tired of coming home to see his wife and daughter gone, he was tired of missing you being raised. He committed suicide the day you revealed ‘my darkest secret’. Yeah, I came home to see my dad dead. You know how hard that is? No, you don’t. Your life is perfect, Your life is so easy, yet you waste it ruining others.” I paused, wiping the tears that spilt down my cheeks.

“So You Know What Brittany Michelle Adamme West? I’m Done, I’m Done with you, I’m Done with your shit, and I’m Done with being trashed, ruined, and feeling like nobody.” I said throwing my hands in the air.

A tear flew down her cheek as well. I gave her one last stare before turning around and seeing basically the whole hall, and right in front was Gemma, the boys, and Liam.

“I’m Done.” I said to Gemma, I looked to them who were in shock. I then pushed through the crowd and to the doors.

I ran out and down the street. I wasn’t sure where I was headed but I finally arrived to my minds destination. I ran up the drive and onto their porch.

A woman answered the door.

“Where is she?” I asked.

“I’m sorry, but she left two hours ago to an important business meeting overseas, she won’t be back for days.” The housekeeper said. I nodded before stepping a bit back, she shut the door and I ran back down the drive.

I had finally reached my house, and walked inside and fell to the floor crying. I pulled out my phone and dialed the familiar number. It rang multiple times before the voicemail answered.

“Hi Mom, I don’t know where you are, are if you will get this, but, but-“ I paused, catching my breath.

“I need someone, I need you mom.” I said before taking the phone off my ear and pressing the end button. I then looked up to see not only someone, but a special someone.

Liam.
