When they arrived the whole town seemed huge and lively. There was so much commotion going on that one person could get stuck right in the middle of it. Merchants and Farmers would be trying to sell there items by yelling anything that would catch the peoples attention. Jenora and her uncle didn't bother with all the commotion that was going on. They just quickly sped through the crowd towards their destination.
As they approach the castle Jenora saw her uncle hold up a the message and said to one of the guards
"We are here by a request from the King himself" her uncle exclaimed
"Go on in" Said on of the guards "Open the gate and let the king know that Sheldon has come to see him" the guard hollered. A few minutes later the large wooden gates creaked open and on the inside of those gates were two guards on each side.
When they entered Jenora couldn't help noticing someone sitting in a tree with some kind of sword and a cloak over his head. The guard who happen to see Jenora looking that direction said
"That man you see there well that’s Draconus"
"Does he live here?" Jenora asked
"No he only comes around when the competition is just around the corner and well the King lets him come and go as he pleases. Oh did I mention he is the champion and that he hasn’t fallen down not even once ever since he started competing." The guard replied
"How can I get myself in of these competitions?" Jenora asked
"Well you have to speak with the King; there he will decide whether you are fit enough for the competition" the guard explained
"Anyone can enter?" Jenora asked as they entered the court room
"Well anyone that thinks they are strong enough to defeat the champion" the guard said in a sort of boasting tone
When they entered the room the guard gestured them to sit and left to go fetch the king
"You’re not thinking of entering are you?" Jenora’s uncle asked with a worried expression on his face
"Maybe" Jenora Replied as she gave a small shrug
Her uncle just went on and on telling her why she shouldn't enter and that she was to young to enter into anything like that. As they were discussing amongst each other the king happen to enter the room. When Jenora's uncle notices him coming in he gradually stood up to greet him.
"Welcome Son, I see you got my message"
"Yes. This is your grandaugther Jenora."
"Oh yes you have grown a lot Jenora, Now let’s get down to business shall we?"
"Have any of the men gotten any news about what he will do next?" The king asked
"No but some of my scouts reported seeing his men just thirty miles from here" the king answered
"Do you know how we are going to capture this sorcerer?” Jenora's uncle asked
"No but I believe we should trap his men first and then trap him" The king explained
"And how do you suppose we do that? This man is powerful so powerful that he killed your eldest son and his wife"
"I know"
After talking on what they should do. Jenora and her uncle got up and left the room. But Jenora stopped and turned around
