Everyone was getting ready for the battle that was going to take place very soon. Captains training their men to fight and showing them how to defend themselves. Meanwhile inside the court room Jenora, Draconus, The General, and the King were going over the battle strategy.
“Grandfather where did your scouts say they saw his men?” asked Jenora
“Right over here. They said that they also saw some nearby town as they were on their way back.” Replied her Grandfather as he showed the places where his scouts saw them.
“Alright, general you take some of your men and check that area, maybe to see if they are still there.”
“Yes Mam”
“Me and Draconus will take the rest to follow those men and see if they can lead us to the man who killed my parents, where we should find my uncle. Grandpa do you think you can take care of finding him while me and Draconus go and get rid of this monster once and for all?”
“I will. But I will need some of my men to come with me for protection.”
“Ok”
“So, that’s it. Follow his men to find the monster and your uncle”
“Yeah that’s pretty much it”
“Ok, are we going to leave tomorrow on schedule or do we have more that needs to be done?”
“Well no one in the village knows that my uncle is still alive. So we will have to go on with the funeral ceremony and make sure no one goes near the casket”
“So we aren’t leaving tomorrow?” asked the General
“No, I decided that the funeral will go on first and we will leave the day after. Will you have your men ready by then?”
“Yes”
“Alright now I hope we can make it convincing so the villagers don’t think that anything suspicious is going on”
“Let’s hope we can.” Said her Grandfather
They all then left the room while Jenora stayed and went over the plan some more.
