Meanwhile Draconus was practicing as well. His arm still hurt but that didn’t stop him. He would pick up his sword swing it around a few times and he would drop it then pick it up again. After he was done using his sword he picked up his sling and did a bit of target practicing. His goal was to try to hit the middle of the target, and as much as he hated to admit it, his aim was off as well so he thought he could practice. He knew for a fact that he was much better with a close up to combat weapon then long range. He might be a great fighter but did not know how to judge the distance between him and his target. So he picked up the sling and swung as hard as he could. Like he suspected it didn’t hit the middle, in fact it was way off the primary target like a few feet away. He tried again this time hitting the target but not the middle. He tried once again and finally he hit right in the center of the target. He hit it so hard enough that the whole thing fell backwards.
He smiled proudly. Now he had to just had to do that all the time especially when became between him and his target. He threw again another few times and each time he would miss or hit his target. By then the sun started to set and he needed to get some rest for the long journey ahead of him and he was very determined to get his master back whether he was alive or not.
At least he hoped that he was still alive. His master was like a father to him and well things seem to have changed since he left. He really missed him and couldn’t wait to hopefully see him again.
