Laura looked around confused. "What's wrong L?" asked Cedric, he was also worried and it showed quite well in his voice and darting eyes. The train was almost at the station and Laura could feel all the cold entering the train. "I don't want to go to this school. Not this year at least, Cedric it's dangerous. Why? I'm not sure." she said to him. He decided it was best not to respond as he could see her darting, almost scared, eyes. He reached out to help her up as the train rocked. "Let's go Laura. It's ok. We don't have to see Harry again." said Cedric. Laura looked up at him and nodded. She had last seen Harry passed out on the floor of his train car. Hermione had said it was a Dementor attack.

Laura got up, walking hand in hand with Cedric, hoping it was safe for her to go into the school. As per usual Hagrid was waiting, but this time he was looking around anxious. "Come along, Dumbledore will explain the dark flying objects in the sky." he said. Laura and Cedric nodded and closely followed Hagrid. When they boarded the boats that were taking them to the castle Cedric boarded a boat with Hermione and Draco while Laura got Hagrid and Harry. "Listen.." said Harry weakly. Laura turned her head, prying it away from the sparkling water she was growing to love rather than see it meant being away from her mother. "I fear I can't Harry. I should've known you were bad when I first met you." she said "Your not my brother.". Harry winced at her harsh words.
"Laura." He said, desperately reaching. Attempting to sway her back onto his side.

"No. Harry James Potter. I can't." cried Laura and she turned to the quickly advancing shore. The sky was dark black and cold ice crept along the boat. Harry was still eating small bites off a chocolate bar he had found on the train. "What's going on?" she said to Hagrid. "'Arry didn't tell you? Well then I shall. 'Arry's paren's were murdered by The Dark Lord, 'ight? Well someone had to turn them in. It was 'Irius Black." said Hagrid his eyes were darting as the dark tale was told "He was captured and 'ent to Azkaban. Well he didn't stay long. Hes out and about now.". Laura looked back at Harry, sympathetic. He closed his eyes as to not see her. "I'm sorry Harry. Sirius didn't tell though." She said to him, his head shot up. "Laura, what the bloody hell are you talking about?" he said, harshly. She winced, knowing she had said what no one needed to know. "Just know he didn't Harry. Now my mom will be visiting, so stay at Gryffindor and I'll stay in Hufflepuff?" she asked him and he merely nodded.

They got out of the boats and walked separately to the school steps, hearing the usual speech on the matter of first years being sorted into the four houses. "Hello?" said Laura, attempting to get Cedrics attention before they reached the table. "Don't talk, please. Save us all by not talking." he said to her. The Dementors were flying around in an almost hypnotic pattern. "ok." she whispered, leaning onto his shoulder only to be shoved away in an attempt to keep her away, tears stung her eyes. Threatening to spill.

Harry looked at her and saw Cedric shove her away "No?" he said, and attempted to get up, only to hear a screeching sound from a Dementor. He quickly sat back down, to look back at Laura and see her slowly shaking her head, wiping away tears which were glistening on her cheeks, threatening for more to come. She wiped her tears and shook her head. Regaining her composer. Laura tried to rest her hand on Cedrics, only to have it shoved away. She winced and made her way to the door, "Goodbye" she said to everyone as she walked out, allowing two dementors to follow her. "Laura" muttered Harry, he was about to get up as a hand was placed on his shoulder "Don't get up, Harry. The dementors don't think fondly of you." said Dumbledore his long beard, trailing lightly on the floor. "But Dumbledore--" Harry started. The professor put his hand up, stopping Harry "Your scared for Laura--" he said "-- but the Dementors worship her practically." The professor finished for him. "Snape is still the potions teacher?" asked Harry, his tone hinting hatred. "Professor Snape" Corrected Dumbledore "And yes.". Harry winced and nodded, allowing Dumbledore passage. "Welcome students of Hogwarts. This is the year many students understand as... hard. We have a new DADA (Defense Against The Dark Arts) teacher, his name is Remus Lupin, or to you Professor Lupin. We will welcome him with open arms." said the Hogwarts Headmaster "Snape, will you speak of the issue at hand?" asked Dumbledore, gesturing to a man, the professor was in his usual attire, of black robes and pale skin that students had grown so used to.

"Of course Professor Dumbledore." he said "As you  all can see, the Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry is also under surveillance of the Azkaban prison. A man by the name of Sirius Black has escaped prison, the first, and the last, person to escape Azkaban Prison For Wizards. We had dementors brought to our school to help protect the dear students. Sirius Black led to the murder of two Potters by Voldemort. Sirius Black told the dark lord about Harry Potters parents whereabouts and The Dark Lord did the deed of murder. Remus Lupin knew this man personally and is here to help, do not treat him harsh" said Snape as he gestured back to Dumbledore, walking  off the stage. Harry was tearing up in the knowledge of his parent's murderer was loose. Despite everything, Hermione and Draco would help him, along with possibly his sister, not counting how distant the two were becoming.
