The Parseltounge Hidden Secrets

      After that long day Harry walked back into Gryffindor common, and saw Laura. She got up and ran to tackle him, Harry then saw Hermione, frozen on the ground. He released Laura and walked beside to stand beside Hermione. "What did you do?" he asked her and Laura kept crying. "Its him." she cried "It's Tom Marvolo Riddle.".

     Harry shook his head "I don't know him.". She nodded as though she had expected such and moved on. Harry looked quitely after her. She held up her wand and spelled his name, in a matter of time she had moved them around and made "I Am Lord Voldemort." Harry shook his head. "Voldemort isnt in this school." he said "Your wrong.". She shook her head again, afraid to speak "He possessed me. He comes from a diary, take it. Do something. Anything with it." she said. She held out a leather and worn book. It looked as though hundreds of years old. Harry took the book and began to lie it down, only to look up and see all emotion had drained from Lauras face. "Laura?" he asked and she looked at him, twisting her head. He looked shocked and frowned at her. "Laura come on." said and she began to flourish her wand. "No!" he shouted and lunged forward, bringing her down with him. She got up and began walking, him trailing closely. Laura walked past the infirmary where he saw over twelve kids laying, frozen. "She did all this?" he said to himself as she made her way to the prefects bathroom, where Harry heard a voice.

     It was speaking in a accent and language he had never heard. "Who's there?" he said. "Speak Snake Potter." said Laura and Harry frowned. "How do I-" thats when he heard it. He understood what it was saying. "Harry Potter. How long indeed." it said. "What is it?" he asked, turning to Laura only to see her crumple. "Incendio!" he shouted at the sinks, hearing it blow up he ran to Laura. "What the hell happened?" said a new voice. Harry turned and let out a sigh."Harry I know what it is." said Cedric, tossing him a book. He flipped it open finding a bookmarked page.

                                                                                  Basilisk

                         'The basilisk is a creature of high danger. it is a type of snake native to the wizardry                              world. Most known for its highly poisonous fangs. Only one wizard attempted to                                   tame one and successfully did, Tom Marvolo Riddle became dangerous after                                       being known to go into the Hogwarts Chamber Of Secrets and open it. Being the                                heir of Slytherin. The basilisk has the ability to freeze you with its eyes. Leaving the                            same effect as a Petrificus spell would. not much more information on this creature                           is avaliable.'  

       Harry looked at cedric, shocked. "I knew my Laura was innocent. But if Tom is back... is Voldemort?" he asked Harry. "No, I don't think so. last time I saw The Dark Lord was when he was merely a soul. But it mustn't bring worry to the others." said Harry, Cedric nodded and took Lauras cold hand. "We need her." he said and Harry nodded "I found our chamber by the way, follow me" announced Harry, Cedric grabbed Lauras hand, helping her up. She rested her head on his shoulder "Shes barely conscious, should we take her?" he asked Harry only to have Harry nod gravely. "Ok." said Cedric, picking her up and trailing Harry.

      Harry jumped into the sinks, and Cedric sighed "Catch your sister!" he yelled down, hoping Harry heard him, he tossed Laura down. He heard a grunt and Knew Harry had caught her. "Spongify!" he shouted before jumping, landing softly on his feet. "Ok then" Said Harry, shoving Laura back to him. Harry took a deep breath before plunging further into the chamber. Finally they reached a room where Harry saw a boy standing at the end. "Harry Potter" said the boy. He was around his teenage years and looked tired. "Tom Marvolo Riddle" said Harry. Tom laughed "The one and only" he said. "Might want to hurry, quicker she dies, quicker I heal" said Tom. Gesturing grandly to himself and speaking in parseltongue. Harry advanced towards him, dropping his wand. Suddenly a snake came from no where, and then a phoenix. The phoenix charged the snakes eyes and blinded him, then flew away. 

       "Wait. Tom." said Harry "Listen". Tom looked at him, confused. "You want to talk? at a time like this?" yelled Cedric, holding Laura tight to him. "Tom." said Harry, ignoring the protest of Cedric "Don't kill her.". Tom looked at him, more confused "Why shouldn't I?" he asked Harry and Harry took the chance "Voldemort would hate you. He took Laura in as his own, he needs her. Bellatrix and him would kill you." said Harry, out of the corner of his eye, he could see Cedric picking up a spare fang from the basilisk. "Your trapped in the diary? Aren't you?" he said and Tom nodded, he didn't know what to do. "Not anymore." said Harry and Cedric plunged the fang in, Dumbledore appearing and snatching Laura away. the Phoenix going with him. Much to Harrys surprise a sword appeared in front of him as well. "What?" he said, and lifted it, seeing the basilisk come charging at him. He ran the sword through the head of the basilisk, but not before one of the fangs nicked his skin. Harry let out a cry as the phoenix appeared again.

    "Go... tell Dumbledore.." he told the bird, as he saw tears well up in its eyes. It began to cry and Harry felt tear after tear hit his skin. Suddenly the odd coloring of his veins, turned blue, and the cut healed up. Much to his shock the pain left all together.

     "Phoenix tears... heal." rasped Harry as someone came inside. "Harry!" shouted Hermione rushing to him. "What? How?" she said, resting his head on her lap. "its ok. Laura is ok. So Is Cedric." she said and he nodded and went to sleep.
