I guess you could say having your father be the head sheriff of the Los Angeles Police Department is one thing, but falling for one of his late-night pickups sitting in the back of his car, is the total opposite.
My dad, Sheriff Richard Woods, is the head of the Los Angeles Police Department. Sure, he's had his fair share of tracking down robberies, shootings, hit-and-runs, he's seen it all. However, when I decided to head out in the passenger seat along side of him one night, he made an arrest on a boy that flipped my whole life upside down.
