I woke up to the sun beaming through my windows. Today would be my first full day here in Australia and I had no idea what I was going to do. I have no one here no friends no family, well this is going to be one boring week until I start uni. I reached over my bed unplugging my phone from its charger and unlocking my phone, I had three messages.

From Mom:

You haven’t made contact with me at all? Addie are you okay? Did you get to the airport okay, did you get to your house okay, can you make sure you message or ring me as soon as you get this! Mom x

Oops, forgot I was supposed to text my Mom.

To Mom:

Hey Mom, sorry I forgot to message you was just so tired last night, jetlag is taking over me, I’ll try and ring you later, love you Addie xx

The second text read.

From Avery:

Hey Addie, Mom is frantically worrying about you. Hope you’re safe, missing you tons love you sis xx

To Avery:

Hey Ave, just managed to text Mom back…I’m fine just really tired, miss you too babe, love you xx

And the last text read.

From Mason:

Hey babe, got a surprise for you but you’ll just have to wait and see :P love you xxx

Great, what is he up too?

To Mason:

Ohhhh :( think you should just tell me? Love you too xxx

I decided to jump in the shower and get ready and take a walk around the area, I needed to get used to it after all. After a relaxing 30 minute shower I got out wrapping a towel around my body and around my dripping wet hair. I began drying myself with my towel, slipping my underwear on then some joggers and an old t-shirt. I took my hair out of the towel, brushed through it and just when I was about to start drying my hair my doorbell rang. I walked down the stairs and answered my door. Shit I would look like a tramp when he decides to come round. He stood at the door with them same beautiful green eyes just as I remembered them, he was with two other boys that looked identical apart from one had a small freckle on his nose and a lip ring. They must be twins.

‘’Hey Adrienne, I just thought I’d let you know that someone will be round at 4pm later to fix your window, here’s the money it’s $150’’ he said handing me an envelope filled with money.

‘’Thanks Beau, see playing soccer cost you a lot of money didn’t it?’’ I said sarcastically, he just laughed.

‘’These are my brothers by the way this is Jai’’ he said pointing to one of the boys; he was wearing a beanie, a black polo shirt and skinny jeans. ‘’And this is Luke’’ he slapped this boy round the face what the fuck. Luke was the one with the freckle on his nose and the lip piercing so surely it wouldn’t be that hard to tell them apart, right?

‘’Me and the boys were thinking since you’re new here maybe we could show you round the area? Go into the city or something get to know one another that way you’ll actually have some friends’’ Beau asked, I might have considered it if he wasn’t so rude at the end.

‘’Um, thanks but no thanks, I’m quite busy today’’ I replied with manners, something he clearly didn’t have.

‘’Ah okay, maybe another time then beautiful’’ he winked before walking away. Oh wow, he was such a ‘’charmer’’ he wished.
