Chapter 4

I wake up to find my phone continuously vibrating on the bedside table, I reached over to grab it and it was my Mom ringing me. I hesitated answering it because in honesty I just wanted to sleep for the rest of my life, I could be the laziest person sometimes but if I didn't answer it she would just worry.

''Hey Mom'' I said as I answered the phone.

''Hello sweetie, you sound tired have I woke you up?'' She replied, I looked over to my alarm clock and it read 10:08AM.

''Uh yeah, but don't worry because it's about time I got up anyway'' I joked.

 ''Ah okay darling was just checking if everything is okay?''

''Yeah everything is fine, made some friends'' I said thinking of Beau; smiling through the phone and then felt stupid as I come to the realization that she couldn't actually see my face. 

''Ah, who is that then?''

''Just my neighbors, Beau, Luke and Jai. I've met their Mom as well Gina, she's lovely.''

''That's great Addie, how is everything with Mason?''

''Wait how do you know he is out here?'' I asked confused.

''Addie he had it planned for ages.''

''Oh, well yeah me and Mason are kind of.'' I paused and hesitated telling her what had happened between me and Mason because he was such a big part of our family and had been for the last 3 years, my family loved Mason he was really close with my family and I know it would hurt them when they found out what he had done.

''He what?'' my Mom asked.

''H-he, he's just gone out to the shops to get some food.'' I replied, I know lying is bad and I shouldn't lie to my Mom but I couldn't tell her about me and Mason, not just yet.

''Ah that's great, anyway sweetie I'll let you go to get on with your day, I'll speak to you soon. I love you.''

''I love you too Mom'' I said before ending the call. 

Well today was going to be interesting, I have gone from loving every minute of being here with my boyfriend, well now ex-boyfriend. To actually just wishing I was back home with my family and friends. Mason has ruined everything and I haven't even been here a week yet. I was determined to socialize and go out today, and I will try my best not to think about Mason. I decided to get ready and go round to Beau's to see what he was up to today.

I got ready wearing just a plain white t-shirt, black leggings and my white converse. I was in no mood to impress anybody today. I left my house and walked over to Beau's. I walked up to his door and knocked. Luke answered the door...well at least I thought it was Luke.

''Oh hey Adrienne. BEAU YOUR GIRLFRIENDS HERE'' he shouted, oh how embarrassing. Next minute I saw Beau fly round the corner and hit his brother over the head. It was quite amusing.

''Sorry about my brother, he is a cunt'' my mouth dropped at what Beau just called his brother.

''That's a bit extreme don't you think Beau?''

''What is?'' He asked confused.

''Calling your brother that.''

''Calling him what a cunt?'' he asked.

''Yes!'' I shrieked, he just laughed.

''Aw, Americans don't like that word?''

''No we don't, it's a very rude word to use.''

''Well over in Aus I don't know one person who doesn't use it, so you'll just have to get used to it babe'' he replied winking at me. ''So what brings you over to my house then Adrienne?''
