We arrived at TGI Fridays, one of my favourite restaurants back home. I followed him to our table, and he pulled the chair out for. Such a gentleman. We sat and looked at the menu deciding on what to order. I decided on the chicken BLT whilst Dallas ordered a steak. The waiter took our orders and told us that our food wouldn't be long.
''So Adrienne, what brang you over to Australian then?'' Dallas asked.
''Please, call me Rienne. And it's always been a dream to study over here, I don't really know why because there are probably more opportunities for dancers in America but I have always wanted to be out here doing something that I love.''
''If I had the chance to study anywhere else it definitely would have been America, you're right when you say there are more opportunities over in the states, I think you're crazy moving over here from America but then again...I like crazy girls'' he replies with a smile.
I just smile back at him, call me awkward but I don't know how to reply to that if I'm honest. I'm not that crazy, I'm not crazy at all to be fair. My Mom and Dad have always made sure of that, more my Mom than my Dad. I respect that she has always wanted the best for me but I always feel like she was pushing me into doing things I never wanted to do, she'd have me sign up to pointless classes in school and join clubs that I never wanted to because ''it would look good on applications.'' They might just have looked good on an application but since when has joining the Mathletes going to help on an application to become a dancer? That's what I thought.
''Rienne, the food it's here.'' I was brought out of my daze by Dallas calling my name, I hadn't even realised that I was staring into space.
''Oh, uh sorry'' I say as the waitress places down my plate infront of me.
''What was you thinking about then?'' Dallas asked me.
''Just life back home'' I admit.
''Do you miss it?''
''A little, I haven't been gone that long but I definitely miss some parts like my friends, and obviously my family especially my little sister Avery, and I miss the food, I could definitely eat a taco bell or chipotle or even my Mom's home baked food, she's a great cook.''
''Sounds like you miss it a lot more.''
''Hmm, sometimes. This food is really great.'' I quickly try and change the subject because truth is, I do miss home a lot, I miss Mason more than anything even after everything he has done, I still miss him and I hate the fact that I do
''Yeah it is good'' he replies.

After dinner Dallas drove me back to my house, we pulled up on my drive and Dallas helped me out of the passenger seat and walked me up to my front door.
''I had a really nice time tonight Rienne, it was nice getting to know you a little more.''
''Yeah I had a great night, we should do it again sometime soon with the others as well, we can go bowling or something?'' I suggest.
''Yeah sure'' he laughs flashing his perfect pearly white teeth. Wow.
Suddenly Dallas is leaning in closer and closer to my face, his eyes are closed and his lips are ever so slightly pucked, he's going to kiss me, oh my god he is actually going to kiss me. Don't do it my conscious tells me but it's to late his lips have already connected to mine. I should pull away but I don't I just continue to kiss him and before I know it his hands are around my back and mine are wrapped around his neck. I know deep down I shouldn't be doing this but I have never really had any male attention other than Mason so this is a little foreign to me.
