I walk out of Beau's drive and on to my own, heading up the drive and into my house. That still feels weird, my house. I open the front door and see my sister in the kitchen making pizza.
''Hey'' I say closing the door behind me.
''Hey Addie, I hope you don't mind. I got a little hungry and made something, I made enough for all 3 of us though.'' She tells me.
''That's fine, you know you're allowed to help yourself too anything Avery.''
''Okay, so I heard you come in earlier but was to tired to be bothered to actually get up...where have you been?'' she asks looking at the letter Beau wrote me that has been opened on the kitchen side.
''Well, I read the letter Beau gave me and decided to go and speak to him. He only lives next door.'' I tell her.
''So who is he and why is he leaving a letter for you?'' She questions.
''It's a long story.''
''I'm not going anywhere.'' She tells me hopping onto my kitcken counter.
''Where do I start? Basically the first day I moved here he kicked a ball through my window and smashed it, that's how we met. Then Mason turned up and we spent a few days together, I found out he cheated on me so obviously I ended things with him, I went round to Beau's house and we sort of kissed and then a few days later I went bowling with him and his twin brothers Luke and Jai and we ended up kissing again and then Mason walked in but basically I think I may have little feelings for Beau, the more time I spend with him the more I like him, but I don't want him to feel like a rebound you know?''
''That's um, I don't really know like so much has happened since you've been here it's crazy. I can't believe Mason cheated on you, I never liked that arsehole.'' She tells me. ''Beau seems nice though'' she adds.
''Yeah he's lovely.''
''You'll have to invite him round for dinner before me and Amelia leave so I can get to know him.'' She says nudging my shoulder.
''When do you leave?'' I ask her.
''Amelia said it was urgent so I took 2 weeks off school, it's cool though I brought school stuff with me so I don't fall behind in my classes.'' She tells me.
''You should put your school work before me Avery, you know I'll be fine.''
''Yeah, but I really wanted to see you as well, I've missed you so much.''
''I've missed you too sis.'' I tell her pulling her into a tight hug.
''Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. I'm not quite sure which one of those it is.'' Amelia announces, I have to laugh.
''Good afternoon, well late afternoon'' I say looking at the clock that reads 16:03PM.
''Some boy came by earlier looking for you.'' She says trying not to smirk.
''Yeah, me and Avery have already spoke about it.''
''So who is he?'' She asks.
''Do I really have to go over it again?'' I laugh.
''She fancies him.'' My sister tells her.
''Don't blame you to be fair.'' Amelia says.
''I wouldn't say I fancy him...Okay, maybe a little. He's lovely.'' I tell her.
''After what Mason has put you through I think you need to get out a bit more and start seeing more people, they say the best way to get over someone is to get under them.'' She winks.
